If Biden steps down, then I think Bernie is the nominee. As you mentioned he has been one of the leaders in the democrat party. The democrat party is about 50% socialist today. There are at least two strong factions.

Maybe some democrats may like her but progressives dislike her because of her record on overcharging drug crime in California. She is seen as a "cop". I think most people don't like her because she varies between cringe and condescending in her public appearances. They kind of ignore the whole sleeping her way to the top bit though I think.

I love the irony of the libtard party, they screamed that Donald Trump is a threat to democracy yet they are actually trying to remove a city president who they knew had this issue the whole time. BUT LG and turbo and EL have bo problems with this. Just as they would have no problem with the doj arresting Americans
