I would assume ( in my mind only, nothing to support this) that Daniel Orton might de-commit and look elsewhere, with this news. I personally would have been happy with either of them, or dare I say.... both.

Let John take care of Wall. If he gets John Wall with Cousins, there's a chance you guys will have to make room for another banner. UNC is comming on Wall strong now, I would keep a eye on that.

Exactly. Word is he was already a Duke lean, due to the fact that his mother is sick or something and he wanted to stay close to home. If Ty Lawson is leaving, then UNC suddenly becomes VERY attractive. IMO

I think Vegas is betting on Patterson, Meeks, Cousins, Orton and Hood. Porter is officially gone, and the odds on UK and NC winning the tourney next year sit at 10-1. Wonder what the odds makers know?

Yeah, thats interesting isn't it. I don't think you can put UK at 10 to 1 WITHOUT Wall, or another elite PG, which there are not any left. But Vegas usually does pretty well with their odds. *shrugs*

I wouldn't be annointing this as Cal's first super awesome class at UK. It seems as if Orton has asked out and there is a pretty good chance that Cousins won't qualify for an SEC team. Pair that with the chances of Wall going elsewhere getting larger every day and Meeks entering the draft and UK may have worse personnel than this past season.

Henry ends up at Memphis or Kansas and it is possible that Patterson could leave early as well. That would mean UK's squad would look like this past one except minus Patterson, Meeks, and Porter and add Hood.

UNC has entered the Wall sweepstakes pretty late in the game. Maybe too late. Brian Clifton (Wall's AAU coach) has publicly said he hates Roy Williams (because Roy refuses to deal with Clifton and also didn't recruit Clifton's brother). Interestingly, Clifton really likes Coach K and has said he'd be happy if Wall goes to Duke. If Clifton is calling the shots, this is between Duke and UK. Question is: Is Clifton still calling the shots?

Edit to add: Lawson is gone.

I would assume that it is easier to get kids to qualify for Memphis that it is for Kentucky. If this assumption is correct, CJC will have a harder time getting some of his usual suspects in.

Nolan Dennis has been or asked not sure if it is final yet for his release from his LOI but his mom said he will not be at memphis next year and wants to go to UK.

Cousins, Dennis, Hood and maybe Wall and Orton that is pretty strong.

I am starting to wondering if Patterson is going to come back or not any thoughts?

Edit: I have heard that Cousins and Wall haven't taken there ACT/SAT anyone know anything about this or why they haven't?
