Nolan Dennis has been or asked not sure if it is final yet for his release from his LOI but his mom said he will not be at memphis next year and wants to go to UK.

Kentucky Sports Radio

Cousins, Dennis, Hood and maybe Wall and Orton that is pretty strong.

I am starting to wondering if Patterson is going to come back or not any thoughts?

Edit: I have heard that Cousins and Wall haven't taken there ACT/SAT anyone know anything about this or why they haven't?

I have not heard that, but that would be surprising. Let us know if you get an answer on that. I'll check into it too.

I would assume ( in my mind only, nothing to support this) that Daniel Orton might de-commit and look elsewhere, with this news. I personally would have been happy with either of them, or dare I say.... both.

Already signed...he could leave but it would take more than just de-committing

well you do think rich brooks is a good coach. . .

Not good- damn good for being able to put 3 straight winning seasons together...at Kentucky.

Put Kiffin, Meyer, or Richt there, and they'd all struggle.

is that why he couldn't even manage to have a .500 career record at oregon in the "lowly" pac-10?

Please. UK played a terrible Louisville team, Norfolk State, MTSU, and Western Kentucky as their non-conference schedule. He just manufactures winning seasons through scheduling. Hell, he only won 2 SEC games.

Well I hope Orton doesn't stay. Freakin' defensive beast in the post and an offensive beast with Cousins... then maybe PP.

They'll probably get Dennis but that's about it.

I don't have it on high authority, but the whole rumor of Orton asking for his release is perhaps true, and his dad only denied it until the derby classic is over this weekend. If he asked for a release during this week it would rile the senseless/idiotic portion of the fanbase into booing him off the court at the classic. I think once its over, he's gone. two's company, and three's a crowd down in the paint with that much talent fighting for PT.

I know the rumor is going around that Cousins may not qualify academically. Have you heard anything on that?

Anybody who understands anything about football could look at last year's roster and wonder how they wound up with a winning record. Obviously, you don't.

If Brooks is so bad, how about beating #1 and eventual BCS Champ LSU in 2007? Was that crappy coaching? The next week they came dang close to knocking off the fighting Tebows.

When he arrived at Oregon in 1977 they were an abysmal program. By the time he left, they went to the Rose Bowl and since then have been a top 25 program. Brooks is a turnaround specialist. And yes, I maintain that your boys couldn't do it at UK.

I view Brook like I do Pearl. Not elite but great for the program they are at. Neither will bring a NC to their respective school.

Anybody that understands football knows that you can manufacture bowls by playing 3 or 4 D I-AA teams. That's just buying a bowl. And I have heard multiple UK fans that share my view.

I read somewhere a week or so ago that grades were very much an issue with Cousins. In fact, something I read said that CTJ at LSU (supposedly) quit recruiting the kid because it became apparent that he would not meet the SEC standards. CUSA, however, has a lower standard and he should have been eligible to meet it.

I think that biggest knock on him basketball wise is that a lot of people have claimed he has been known to "shut it down" and show a poor attitude at times.

I'm not aware that conferences have standards, but most certainly the individual schools do. And I think it's safe to assume that most schools in the SEC are more stringent academically than Memphis.
