CP on taunting call: “I seen the ref had threw the flag in the backfield, so I was just trying to look back to see what the flag was for."

Guess you're not allowed to get happy about scoring. Our opposing teams offenses should get about 10 of these penalties called on them a game

actually, in all honesty it looked like he saw the flag get thrown and turned to look at it and wasnt actually taunting

He immediately pointed to the ref that had thrown his flag to explain what he was doing. If he can make it up that quick, he is talented.

That's exactly what it looked like live and on replay...he was turning around to see the flag.

Why? I'm not sure, because they're coached to play to the whistle.

The first time I saw it, it looked like he was celebrating early but when they replayed it, it looked more like he was turning back for some inexplicable reason before quickly turning back. It never looked like an actual taunt to me. A possible early celebration yes but not a taunt.

With a punt return for a TD today @ceeflashpee84 became the 2nd Vol to ever have both punt & KOR TDs in the same year (Bobby Gordon 1957)

Well he did make the top ten with number 9 for the kicker giving him a hard hit. But then the kicker had to be helped off the field so how was that a top ten play?
