I am not making an argument that he MUST be doing well in class.

I am making an argument that I have seen nothing more than the same rumor being repeated, over and over and over and over, absent any sort of substantial proof besides "a poster on VQ/TOS/another thread said so". Yeah, well a poster on those same sites said Shannon/Lovie/Gruden and Martin would be on the UT sidelines at some point in time.

If this happens it will be a HUGE mistake!!! (1) Previous rumors were that C.P. did poorly academically and that had we even earned a bowl bid, that he would not have been eligible. So, for him to suddenly be eligible before next season or before spring practice means some shadly academic things are going on.

(2) If he returns and gets injured, it will be horrible for him. Of course, he could possibly be like Willis McGahee and be drafted high even though he sustained an injury.

Also, I am not sure if I believe that he will return. I am not doudting your source but it defies logic on his part.

I hope CP does return and I hope he succeeds in whatever he decides to do. Calling him dumb is extremely rude despite how he performs academically. He's a play maker and deserves our respect. I don't blame him if he goes pro, but some people on here need to get off of their academic high horses and give our players the respect they deserve!

There's a good chance he could raise his stock if he came back and learned how to run better routes.. I mean he would be THE man from day one... Kinda like the Stallworth/Washington situation .

He is up to 6 feet 4 inches tall. Unless he has grown more....

If he returns to U.T. for his senior season, he would be making a mistake.... I don't see him improving his draft stock by much, even in the best case scenerio....

No one on this web site has any inside knowledge regarding CP's grades. Well, unless CP, his coaches, or his professors have VN accounts.

In "Taken care of" I mean, a big portion of our offense will be built around C.P. showing his skill set. Receiver, punt returner, running back, passer, kick off returner etc.

Kinda like Fulmer promised Jason Allen that he would "Take care of him" by moving him from safety to Corner, if he returned for his senior season....
