Ok so posters on here seem to not understand the game of the NFL. Cp should go pro yes, but to say he couldn't improve himself as a player and receiver is not true. Cp is a great athlete but being athletic doesn't make you an nfl star. Everyone is a freak athlete or they wouldn't be in the NFL.

Cp would definitely benefit from coming back to get another year of sec football under his belt. His route running is very suspect and his edge blocking needs work. Hot reads need alot of improving, as well as his physicality off the ball.

Cp is a star and will be a star bc he's that kinda player but to say he needs to go is false.

The last thing is risk injury. GTFO its football you risk injury everyday

It would be hard to turn down that $ for a year, but once u leave college u NEVER can go back and play.. And it has to be a whole lot of fun at school being the best football player in the league.. U can't be scared of injuries and what if's and let them rule ur life decisions.

No thanks. Sounds a bit like "Coach Gruden is coming because my source said....". If anything, I've learned to trust no one until something official is announced from the person of interest. Fun off season thread though.

I will believe it when and if it is announced officially. Having said that, the best recruit that CBJ could land would be another year for CP. I just don't believe CP would risk his career on another year of not getting paid. Hope I am wrong.

this CP thing is all a smoke screen for Gruden. He will be here soon. Keep believing.

According to a mod on here the Gruden rumors were "verified rumors" and that "verified rumors" were different. Someone needs to "verify" this rumor.

Maybe I misunderstood. The way I took it was because you heard the rumor that Gruden was coming it was verified. Sorry, if Im mistaken.

I was trying to be funny that day. (I should've used a smiley face or something I guess.) The guy's post was something like.... there is a "supposed" rumor. And I was saying there actually WAS a rumor about Gruden. So one was verified and one wasn't. Get it? It obviously wasn't very funny, lol.

I apologize. I got hammered for being pessimistic on the whole Gruden issue and overreacted.
