I will root for Tennessee every week no matter what. Realistically though if you gave me Tennessee and a 40 point cushion I wouldn't put more then a 20 down. I know an impending curb stomping when I see it. Barring Dobbs or Ferg strutting out as the next Jonathan Paul Manziel......or Worley getting a hold of John Smoltz's sports psychologist.....we're headed for a old fashioned azz kickin.
Upsets happen all the time in sports. Here are my keys to victory:
1. Pressure Aaron Murray. Hit him early and often. Make him screw up.
2. Stuff Marshall at the line. If he gets over 100 in the first half, we are dead. We have to make their offense one dimensional.
3. Worley plays his best game of his career to this point.
4. 0 drops from the receivers.
5. Neal has the best game of his career.
If we can do those 5 things then hell yes we have a chance against them or anybody.
Sup? Every week I think we have a chance to win. Its part of being a fan.
You can complain all you want, we're 4 games into Butch Jones' tenure and people are already jumping ship. I can't wait until all the rats are gone; I've been waiting for the last 5, tough years for people to stop whining and get behind the team, I suppose I can wait out another season.
Its not to say I'm not expecting to be disappointed, but my glasses are orange tinted until the end of each game.
We are winning this game in spite of ugly uniforms (nothing will EVER beat beautiful orange and white for me). And the winning part is no brainier - this is still and always will be Tennessee football and those expectations NEVER change.
GO BIG ORANGE!!!!
