Crazy people who think we're beating Georgia roll call.

I am not going to predict a win, but I was at the 2004, 2007, and 2009 UGA games, and I am not sure we were given much of a chance in those. That's why the games are played and why we are fans.

There is a bunch of whining and griping about how the team is playing. This is a learning year, and we have to be patient. I know people are tired of that, but you have to understand it. Last year was our window of opportunity to advance the program with offensive NFL talent, and our coach failed to do so. That is not on our current coach.

Something i HAD to get off my mind.... As of late I have noticed some incredibly disgusting things from UT fans. Most of them are more embarrassing than what our team is doing on the field, and that alone is saying something. So with that said, I have a few things I would like to say to The Tennessee Volunteer football fan base.

First of all, grow up. Since when does it matter what color jersey a team wears? Since when does that determine the outcome of a game? If our team wants to spruce up and wear something different it is our duty as a fan base to stand behind them and cheer for them. It is not okay for us to whine and argue about whether or not they look awful.

Second of all, stand behind your coach. If he makes a decision to start a certain quarterback, that is his call. Sure, his call may suck, but whining and *****ing about it doesn't solve anything. Instead why don't you stand up, cheer, and support your team. Booing a kid on the field is low. He is out there trying to prove himself to everyone, not just his coach, his parents, his teammates, but everyone who happens to watch a UT football game.

Third of all, learn to have some PATIENCE. And if you can't do that, pray for some. To continue with supporting our coach: Why are people already after his head? He has come into a program that is in the dirt. He didn't put us there. He had nothing to do with that. There are many other people you can thank for that, but don't hold that over his head. He is slowly digging us out of the ground, washing away all the dirt, and trying to make us shine as a program again. That is not going to happen over night. To expect for it to is just ludicrous. Trust in him, give him time, and help him. He is after all trying to rebuild our favorite football program "brick by brick".

In conclusion, we have got to stand behind our team. We have to be on our feet and cheering in the stands. We have to put in at least a little bit of positive effort. When our voices are out-shined by our opponent's fans in OUR house, that's a problem. We should always be able to come together and cheer with our whole hearts to make Neyland Stadium rock. We need to create that incredibly electric atmosphere that everyone loves. We can't just expect to go in there and let the team do all of the work. They need to know that we stand behind them regardless of what's happening on the field. So stand up, get people involved in some positive chants, and love your Vols.

I love The University of Tennessee Volunteers. My blood runs orange. Saturdays in Tennessee during the fall are honestly my favorite time of the year. However, our fan base has been not only embarrassing but disgusting. I would almost go as far as to call us the worst in the country but I'll save that for Florida fans. If you don't like what is going on with the Vols then stop being a Vol fan and go hop on whatever bandwagon peeks your interest. I hear Bama and Florida have some openings on their wagons. Stop being negative, get off your butt and cheer, and Go Vols

Not sure that I have ever used the "like" button, but I have now. This...all day long.

If we tank the season and finish 3-9 I'll be real shocked if we don't hear of yet another coach getting booted out the door....mack brown is prob the next one coming up....matter if time....

With 6:23 left in the game we will be down 7. Worley engineers a drive to tie the ball game up with just under 3 minutes left. We then stop jaw ga with a 3 and out. Worley again drives us to the dawgs 30 were Palardy kicks the game winning 47 yard field goal.

Hope that isn't to positive for you Nancy's out there. GO VOLS!!!

I don't think we're going to win, but I'm hoping and praying that we somehow find a way to. GBO!!!!

ah, see here is the difference. I expect a win every week--that is why i watch the game. But, if we lose for whatever reason, i don't go jump off a bridge or flame away at the players. I have a life.

CMR has a knack for playing to his competition every now and then. If it happens Saturday, game goes to the Vols.

Calling for CBJ's head won't happen if we at least beat Vandy and Kentucky.

Give me 60 minutes of maximum effort and concentration thru the next 3 games and I'll hand you a 7-5 season.

I'd like to just go ahead and put it out there and hopefully preempt the craziness that's going to ensue on this forum.

We're very much.. really.. most likely.. undoubtedly.. honestly.. admittedly.. probably not going to win even while wearing our super, spectacular, outstanding, magical, gray uniforms.

To anyone under the impression that the uniforms are going to help, sorry, but these uniforms don't harness the powers of Zeus, Ares, Hermes, Eric Berry, or Peyton Manning.

So before hitting the SUBMIT button on your "my crazy, unrealistic expectations weren't met" thread, give this some thought.

Real..ist lousy vols fan. We may lose but we should expect to win. If you already believe we will lose, why even watch the game?

Because we can......they can always prove us wrong.

If we could go into Death Valley with Dooley and Simms during their first year at Tennessee, and be 2 extra players away from beating LSU then I think we have a chance to beat Georgia in our own house this Saturday. Georgia's defense is piss poor. They give up a lot of points, but they can put up points on you just as fast if you're not careful. If our offense improves in the least bit, then we can make it a ball game. We just can't keep our defense on the field all day.

Hater, I never said they "couldn't" win.

I've got a feeling that we can win this game. They will not be able to run on us, and if we can defend the pass and get some turnovers, I smell an upset.

A lot of if's though...

GO VOLS!!!!

Gray is more magical than black and you remember what happened with black right? Spurrier?

I expect a written apology from you on Saturday evening.

:)

Lol

Not that I said "in fact" that we'd lose I'd love the opportunity to, and with a smile on my face write something along the lines of having been mostly wrong.
:)
