I would not be shocked to find out the husband is still being investigated, you know the it’s always the husband’s fault..,.he probably woke her up to run, and knew there would be some bad guy would be out there.

Why was their speculation early on that the husband was involved? Does he have a checkered past?

Man accidentally shoots self at Southern Heritage Classic

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was taken to the hospital Saturday at the Southern Heritage Classic after accidentally shooting himself in the stomach, witnesses said.

WREG spoke to MPD Assistant Chief of Police Don Crowe, who confirmed the shooting occured in the parking lot of the Liberty Bowl. Investigators believe this was an accidental shooting.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. It is unclear how the firearm discharged in this instance.

The Multi-Agency Gang Unit reviewed the footage. Police records state the suspect said the following in the video, “I’m fixing to go on ahead and gone Zeek Mode on nothing but white people. I catch any white h*** on the sidewalk you going to get popper tonight. He already shot a white old man. I’m fixing to shoot a white old lady [explicative] …while her grandkids in the car.”

A couple of summers ago, I used to see a black guy that walked around my neighborhood wearing shorts and a hoodie pulled up over his head when it was in the 90's outside. Whenever I passed him, I would always speak to him and he would speak back. I always wondered if he was trying to get a rise out of people so he could claim victimhood, because nobody in their right mind would wear a hoodie when it's in the 90's.

I wrongly assumed it was him.. he supposedly had a drug problem or something.. mea culpa.. it’s where your mind goes.. my husband the entire time, ‘nah, it’s Memphis, somebody yanked her up’ .. and eww.. my arms look flabby.. 🤮 need to work on that lol (that part was me, not him lol)

The State moved the crime lab out of Memphis and now there's over a one year backlog for Memphis rape kits.

Some of what happened last week is on Gov. Lee for giving the middle finger to Memphis by not processing these kits...

They had to move the crime lab out of that cesspool. They had so many cases endangered by sheer corruption and incompetence there
