My point being, if these cops were not being charged with a crime, if this were Rodney King all over again that‘s one thing. That would be an incredible injustice. They’ve been charged. What else can legally be done right now other than what has been done? What exactly is being accomplished by shutting down an interstate? What wrong is being righted? If it escalates what good will come of looting or burning down a CVS or whatever?"Protesting what?" I don't see a problem with protesting this. If you break a law while protesting pay the price, but there's no problem with protesting an egregious murder.

Good point. At least for one of them if the rumors are true. We've probably heard similar stuff. I've just heard rumors from a few coworkers and friends that allegedly have family or friends in various departments of the MPD. The rumors they're hearing say personal.
Who knows if it's true, like you I won't bother repeating on a message board, but should be 1st Degree Murder charges if so.

My thoughts on both as well. Although i have no doubts this Memphis case should be 1st degree for all involved, and honestly some sort of aiding, or failure to render aid or negligence charge for those who stood by and watched.I thought Chauvin was severely over charged and got a show trial. But I'm also not a lawyer......
The killing of Tyre should be 2nd degree murder, if not 1st degree.
Sure. The only violent act I see is one guy in NYC kicking a windshield. The rest looks like Canadian trucker-style traffic blocking.@clarksvol00 this good enough for you?
I just saw video of the protestors whonare finally getting off the bridge. There aren’t that many of them and most of them look like what I described earlier. Professional protestors who just want to get on TV or young unwashed bowls of brainless mush who don’t have enough to do. And many of them look like they need baths but that’s an editorial comment.Protestors are blaming the system and the Mayor of Memphis, Jim Strickland for this.
