The cops saying he reached for my gun looking for an excuse sure does add some weight to the need for body cams. How often has that been said and been ********? Makes you think you can't trust a cops testimony which is not a good thing for the good cops. Body cams must be mandatory, and even that may not be enough.

I've been in Shelby County Jail multiple times doing transports, and I will say I shouldn't be surprised by their actions and words. It was hard to distinguish prisoner from officer inside there. Place was wild compared to the other 30+ I've been in.

I cant honestly say ive paid too much attention to this story until tonight, but from what ive seen people predicting if it gets that bad, there will be. Just look at the Floyd riots, Mo etc.... theres a history for the concern.

Seems very possible perhaps even likely.

We see cops make mistakes with shootings. Because of poor training or just bad split second decision making.

Those aren’t this. You just don’t beat another man to death for no reason. Doesn’t add up.

It became personal once he got away and ran IMO and got even more personal when he continued not to comply (could definitely argue they didn’t give him a chance the second time). Those 5 officers could’ve got him to the ground and cuffed him with minimum force used (trust me I’ve been in those situations). At the end of the day those officers took it personal and wanted to teach that guy a lesson and for that they’ll be in prison for a very long time.

Most cops will be disgusted by this as am I.

Not sure what the protesters are hoping to accomplish. They've arrested and charged them all. Blocking interstates does nothing for their cause. Probably loses some sympathizers.

Or it’s very personal for one of them and he got four of his buddies to help him. Maybe that’s a conspiracy. If what I’ve heard is correct, they were looking for him for a reason. It’s the only thing that makes sense for the rage I see on the tape. Guessing we’ll find out because I think it will come out.

I completely agree. Who is disagreeing? Same thing with George Floyd, who was on Chauvin’s side? No one. Same thing here. So why are we shutting down interstates?

This is probably right. The video I was watching to me it didnt really seem like he was resisting and to me at least it seemed like they were moving him themselves, if that makes sense.

Buddies to murder a victim in the street right in a subdivsion of homes..witnesses?

Let’s not get carried away. It’s mostly folks (aka The Young and the Stupid) who don’t have enough to do and look for a reason to get out and raise cane or it’s professional protestors who want attention any time the camera comes on. 90% of them could care less about Tyre Nichols. I doubt that it’s a Communist plot.

I don’t recall seeing anyone supporting Chauvin. I do recall some not exactly agreeing with Floyd’s lifestyle and the martyr he was turned into, but i don’t remember anyone actually thinking Chauvin was in the right.
