You want to make *that* correction? Lol

I think both of you need a lesson in elementary geography. Don't lump yourself with water trash for the sake of partisan sucking

Ok Dink let's battle for this stupid hill.

I was simply telling you to pick your battles and lighten up a little.

So what elementary school lesson did I miss now?

China is a country.

Africa and Australia are continents.

Western Europe is an area.

Just not sure why that particular post is worth attacking. And I am not partisan. I wish both parties would die.

He labeled them all as countries bro.

Australia also qualifies as a country. Fun fact.

Fun fact: it was formed from a penal colony.

Which is not the same as a penis colony my elementary teacher helped clarify for me.

Tennessee becomes latest state to Ban 'divisive' critical race theory in public schools - joining Oklahoma, Idaho and Arkansas

  • Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed into law a bill banning critical race theory from being taught in schools on Monday
  • Lee has said students should learn about American exceptionalism rather than divisive topics
Tennessee has officially become the third state to ban critical race theory in public schools, as nearly a dozen others are trying to pass similar laws, claiming it is indoctrinating children by teaching them that they are either 'privileged' or 'oppressed'.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed the ban on the race theory into law on Monday, arguing that students should learn about American 'exceptionalism' rather than topics like the critical race theory, which, he said 'inherently divide people'.

Exclusive — Critical Race Theory: Inside a Virginia County’s Curriculum for Racial Indoctrination

classroom-elementary-school-children-raising-hands-stock-getty-640x480.jpg

In 2019, the Albemarle County, Virginia School Board unanimously voted to adopt a radical “anti-racism” policy aimed at “building the racial consciousness” by requiring children to deconstruct their racial and sexual identities and “understand that anti-racism is an action” for which they have a “personal responsibility.” Breitbart News has obtained access to the County’s pilot curricula, which the County has attempted to keep secret from parents.

In a mission statement, Albemarle County claims “personal and institutional racism have historically existed and continues to exist,” and that the purpose of the policy is to “dismantle the individual, institutional, and structural racism that exists” and establish a system of “equity.”

Critical Race Theory (CRT) is a Marxist ideology that argues “all of society is racialized and properly viewed through a prism of identity groups based on race and color, with minorities being the oppressed while white people serve as the oppressor.” Moreover, “CRT teaches that white people are inherently and irredeemably racist and benefit from various systemically racist power structures that white people have put in place and perpetuate.”

Another 'Blessing of Liberty' Ends up in Disaster for School Children

What is going on in America’s schools is perhaps the most important issue of our time. While some Republicans continue to obsess over tax rates and licensing reform while purposely eschewing the culture war, children are being indoctrinated in the most disgusting ideologies you can imagine. While economic and regulatory issues are certainly important, they hardly carry the generational consequences of what the current education system is bringing.

Portland Teacher says colleagues who Don't want to Teach Critical Race Theory are like PEDOPHILES and warns they'll be fired if they keep up 'old views of colonialism'

  • Katherine Watkins, a teacher at Cedar Park Middle School in Portland, told colleagues they would be 'fired' if they kept up 'old views of colonialism'
  • Watkins equated teachers who don't agree with her views on race to 'pedophiles' and said her colleagues must 'evolve or dissolve'
  • A spokesperson for the parents group said 'equity warriors' were laying siege to schools such as Cedar Park and harassing staff to conform
An Oregon middle school teacher was exposed by furious parents after likening her colleagues to pedophiles and warning them they'd be fired if they refused to teach critical race theory.

Katherine Watkins, an 8th grade humanities teacher at Cedar Park Middle School in Beaverton, Portland, told colleagues during a Zoom 'equity conference' that if they were 'going to keep up those old views of colonialism, it's going to lead to being fired'.

She said: 'If you're not evolving into an anti-racist educator you're making yourself obsolete in this field of profession.

Iowa Governor Signs Law Targeting Critical Race Theory in Public Schools

reynolds.jpg

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds speaks to the RNC from Washington, D,C.. (Handout via Reuters)

Republican Iowa governor Kim Reynolds signed a law Tuesday targeting the inclusion of Critical Race Theory (CRT) in public school classroom curricula.

“Critical Race Theory is about labels and stereotypes, not education. It teaches kids that we should judge others based on race, gender or sexual identity, rather than the content of someone’s character,” Reynolds said in a statement. “I am proud to have worked with the legislature to promote learning, not discriminatory indoctrination.”

Iowa’s law will prohibit teaching the concepts that the U.S. or state of Iowa is fundamentally or systemically racist or sexist, that an individual, by virtue of race or sex, is inherently racist, sexist or oppressive, either consciously or unconsciously, and that anyone should “feel discomfort, guilt, anguish or any other form of psychological distress” because of one’s race or sex, according to the Des Moines Register.

'It's a new Cultural Revolution': Mom who survived Maoist China's Purges rages against woke Loudoun County School Board for pushing 'neo-racism' and teacher Warns against 'indoctrination camps' in classrooms

A Virginia county's fierce debate over teaching children controversial critical race theory escalated this week at a school board meeting where a mother who survived the purge in Maoist China condemned what she called an effort to turn classrooms into 'indoctrination camps'.

Xi Van Fleet told members of the Loudoun County School Board that she is 'very alarmed' by the teaching of CRT, which she says 'trains children to be social justice warriors and to loathe their country and their history.'

'Critical Race Theory has its roots in cultural Marxism. It should have no place in our school.'

'The Communist regime used the same critical theory to divide people. The only difference is they used class instead of race,' she stated, adding that CRT was 'neo-racist'.

'We were taught to denounce our heritage, and Red Guards destroyed anything that is not communist…statues, books and anything else. We were also encouraged to report on each other, just like the Student Equity Ambassador program and the bias reporting system,' Van Fleet added, referring to new initiatives set up in Loudoun County public schools.

GOP has been bumping their gums about killing the Dept. of Education since Reagan.

This would be a hard thing to get passed. The public school system has been around since early times. It's just in the last several decades it's been radicalized. This is more of a long term goal. The pandemic would've been the perfect time to make this pitch with all that was going on with the schools.

A more short term goal is school choice. This weeds out the bad school systems and bad teachers. At some point competition drives institutions to improve or become obsolete.

Colleges and universities are a harder nut to crack but it starts in controlling secondary school indoctrination. It seems more and more wackos are going into teaching.

. It seems more and more wackos are going into teaching.

It's getting harder and harder to recruit teachers, and the ones who graduate have less than 50% survival rate past the first five years.

Poorly planned and half-ass implemented policy changes every five or six years, increasingly busy or disconnected parents unwilling to support the teacher, increasingly politicized school boards, and constant broadcasted berating by Newsertainment are just a few of the issues that are making America's school systems have trouble keeping quality teachers.

And we don't need to reinvent the wheel. Why don't we look at the countries that are kicking our backsides at international testing and implement the best of what they do?

We can’t because we have to worry about hurt feelings of the latchkey kids or those who are simply idiots that can cut it, made up “systemic racism” such as math being racist, and how important it is to teach grade schoolers about transsexuals to be “tolerant”.

Other countries spend a fraction of what we do on education and do better in some key categories because they have better family structures and because they don’t delve into this kind of nonsense sanctioned from a federal level

Yes, we should only teach our children about how great america is and was. Ignoring issues is always best.

CRT is not about discussing issues. It defines one issue as absolute in everything and then works backwards to prove it. CRT has no place in schools

America's warts should be discussed but that's not the template
