CJH has repeatedly said he wants players who love the game of football and are competitors. From everything I have heard and read about CRG, this is exactly his philosophy as well and he wants young men who are humble enough to learn. Some call that “ hard coaching “ but it is really about developing a team first mentality and find fits to the culture of hard work and no quit. If a prospect doesn’t accept these challenges and commitment, better to know before a NLI is wasted.

Literally makes no sense to roll out the red carpet for him a week before ESD, be leading, and then out of nowhere decide we don’t want the kid.
, Have not seen that reported anywhere, have you ?

from earlier last night here....

Oh well on to the next one..Sucks I was looking forward to seeing him in orange but I can respect the kid if he just didn't feel like it was a fit.No harm no foul this class is shaping up decent just need to add some big bodies along the lines...

It makes a lot of sense. The more you learn about the character of a person, the better decisions you make about taking or not taking a Player. It is best to make that decision before he signs than lose a scholarship after signing day.

"I know coach Garner is a great coach and has put tons of D lineman in the league but I think I know much better what it will take for me to be successful."

I really hope he was miquoted here. At his age, to honestly think he knows more than CRG about what it takes to be successful..... I'll take "very rude awakenings" for a 💯 Alex...

I will say it’s concerning we got beat by Missouri for this kid however that program is a dump he can have fun watching us score at will again next season if he goes there.

Not always a case of another program "beating" you for a recruit, sometimes the recruit simply outsmarts himself...

I think if he came here he would be competing for his job (position) vs Missouri it will be handed to him. Afraid of Competition?
