Maybe, absolutely...I just think: Garner just knows, you know. He's been doing this for so long, at the tip top of the mountain at doing it...he just knows, quite possibly, from the moment he meets a kid in person.

Yep. I find it more than just coincidental that last week not long after M’Ba visited, Heup was asked a question about coaches promising playing time to recruits...and him responding he doesn’t play that game..
Guessing we really liked his POTENTIAL but would not alter our methods to acquire him. Messsage is what it is, similar to the Wade twins issue. Put the truth out there and let it play out.

You can't win 'em all (at least not w/out cheating). This one really sucked to lose, very highly rated player at a position of need w/the potential to contribute early. But it's his college career and he has a very limited window in which to play it. By all accounts I've seen, he gave the Vols a fair chance and has spoken well of the program, but felt another school was a better fit for him. I don't see the need to bash a young man, or make up statements that he never said, to bash him. Seems a bit petty and dickish.
Coach Garner might have learned a lot from Mr. M'ba. Now all of that natural wisdom is going to Auburn's coaches. It's a crying shame if you ask me. I know. You don't. Eff it. I'm out of here.
