Cuban/Mavericks Stop Playing National Anthem

I have stood for the anthem every time it's played but it was rarely ever because i was "happy" about it playing. A good rendition can be a great experience but we've definitely gone overboard with sports.

For all you bemoaning the disappearance of the anthem, I challenge you to sing it with your family once a week at the dinner table. Stop relying on pro sports to lead the way in this observance.

That pledge is an absurd exercise in propaganda, and I could probably say it backwards even though it's been two decades since I've recited it.

It isnt a huge problem, but is a symptom of larger and more important issues. There are concerted efforts at work to destroy this country and to do so by all means. Financially, socially, culturally, education, etc.

This is what’s hard for some to understand.... it’s little things .... incremental steps.... that eventually become part of a bigger issue.

I live in a very conservative part of a conservative city and some of the things I see being taught to my kids at school....would make you think we lived in California.

I have to explain to them, learn it to pass the test, but know it is all incorrect.

The anthem will still be played before Tennessee Smokies’ and Knoxville Ice Bears’ games. Just recite the Serenity Prayer every time you feel yourself becoming offended by something.
