Turnip & Curly Mustard greens are the BEST, IMO!!!You’re practically the only person I’ve come across who mentions turnip greens any more. These days everyone seems to be all over collard greens. Yuck.
I’m doing sautéed spinach for my granddaughter this weekend, yes, she asked me to.Turnip & Curly Mustard greens are the BEST, IMO!!!
My dad sows his entire in garden in greens of almost every variety...turnip, curly mustard, kale, spinach....SO GOOD. I recommend mixing different varieties together when cooking!
The "popeye" with the spinach post brought back a memory. My grandma was keeping us one day, and I was watching Popeye. She made some spinach with lunch, and after I ate it I pretended I was Popeye. I walked onto her porch and punched the side of her trailer, then she went Popeye on me and veat my tailFresh spinach, fresh garlic and a dash of crushed red pepper sauteed in some nice olive oil would have you on here telling errbody how spinach is your new favorite food.
