Culinary, Arts, Thread.

Well I’m learning solely based on what your posting. I only use olive oil for cooking, but I’m interested in doing more with all you’ve posted recently

I actually appreciate the info. Sorry I can’t critique it
To be honest Bill, I've got some health issues. Olive oil is not gonna fix them but it's something that definitely helps. I've had several different kinds of olive oil in my kitchens for 30 plus years and it's been at least 10 since I got "re-educated" and God has put this a together, I believe it was part of his plan. He is the creator of multitasking.

Anyway, I'm killing several birds with one stone too. This is very important to me and I guess I thought others might benefit from what I find out. I mean, if your gonna use olive oil anyway why not use the good stuff. That doesn't necessarily mean expensive.

Do you spray some of the foods you cook in the air fryer with oil? I read avocado oil is best to use because of the high smoke point.
I drizzle alot with olive oil before it goes in the air fryer. Smoke point on evoo is around 375 I think but it's only an issue in a pan and I don't usually cook anything over 350 in a pan anyway. if it starts smoking turn down the heat. AND, a little smoke adds flavor.

It's fun to actually cook and not just throw crap in a pan or oven and rely on what others tell you. :)
