Great after a long run or bike ride to avoid/treat cramps. Other than that it’s an overly excessive amount of salt
I've thought about my ginger tea being an excellent after exercise/walk during to treat cramps, but I don't have them anymore. Used to have them at night. Not saying it's because of the ginger tea, just sayin.

I’m anxious to try this out

I started several things and stopped doing several things all within 4-5 days of each other. So I can't say it's definitely 1 thing, but I'm convinced that the ginger tea is doing what I want it to do or I wouldn't go through the trouble of making it every week.

A 73 year old man at church takes a fancy Turmeric/ginger supplement and has been for 2 plus years that I'm sure he could find cheaper but he swears by it and has to take it 3 times a day....$89 for a month supply. I've figured this tea at about $7 a month. Could probably cut it almost in half by using less ginger, but If I don't get a little burn from it I don't feel like I've used enough. Lol.

Ginger is a stimulate right? That would make it a good pre-work drink.

I think so. I look forward to it every morning and sometimes at night.

I mix my orange Metamucil with it in the mornings and it's like really good. Kinda like Tang with a kick.
Have you tried it with a sliced onion when you boil it? It doesn’t change the taste and there’s something in the onion that supposedly makes it even more healthier

Have you tried just straight ginger root juice?

No, it's another antioxidant and supposed to be good for blood pressure, but I have other things I do for that.

There are many different versions and recipes that all do the same things, but add one more thing and it does one more thing. You can add honey to the ginger tea and make it taste better and then you also have a tea with a probiotic. Add cinnamon and it's antioxidant, inflammatory and lowers blood sugar. Add vinegar and.....the list goes on.

I eat onions, don't need to drink it. I eat honey, don't need to drink it.....I also eat turmeric but not enough, so I drink it.

Yes, I keep it in the refrigerator, Refrigerator.

I've heated it at night a couple of times when my stomach was upset, but other than that I drink it cold.

After reading that thing about soaking the chia seeds and Bill saying he does that, I want to do that with it in the mornings, I just haven't figured out the best way to get that done yet.
