If Tucker Carlson said something, it’s either bound to be a straight up lie, or spun and twisted beyond belief.

oops, probably shouldn’t hit send. Going to anyway
his schtick seems to change depending on who is signing the check. IIRC, he started out on PBS and then did time on ABC. I don't watch any of that garbage from either side with the exception of Kennedy on FBN mainly because I like her sense of humor.

As mentioned previously, I don’t either. The Carlsons, Mahers, Bees, O’Reillys, Matthew’s, etc do far more damage to the divide in the US than most the actual politicians do imo.

I don't believe in reparations. I come from poor white people that never inherited generational wealth.
My mom grew up dirt poor in W. Tennessee. I own the lard pots that my Grandmama rendered hogs in. My dad's side had money but our family never owned slaves either. As for generational wealth.....I got a chunk for school (my 2nd degree) but that was about it.

I'm going to say this and let it go because I could get spooled up quickly. Knoxville did the same thing I think and when they dug into it, the people that actually owned the land and housing were renting to the minority families. So there are two sides of the displaced family stories.

I got to get me one of those DNA test to see what I got. I suspect I have some Mexican blood based on my love of hot peppers, nachos, chihuahuas, and that delicious street corn they sell at the fair. There's more to it than that but for now I am waiting until at least one of my parents is gone before I potentially open a can of worms.
