I decided I didn't care if I was a PITA or not. I contacted Garmin through Chat as if I had a problem. Inder was very kind.
I told her I had ordered the 965 and I knew it said 5-8 weeks for shipment, but was hoping she could give me a better idea.
She asked for my order number.
I gave it to her.
Her reply...
"Inder:
So, it looks like your order is
to be fulfilled with the next
shipment that is received.
Which we are expecting at
the end of April. This is
subject to change"

What do you mean “actually won and Paypal reimbursed me”?Yeah. My dilemma is after that ordeal with Amazon a couple of years ago I use PayPal for all my online purchases. I only keep a few bucks in there until I want to purchase something then transfer the money to it. Now that money is just sitting in PayPal until they ship. I don't trust it. I lost $94 last month but I actually won and PayPal reimbursed me.
I'm thinking about canceling until they're ready to ship.

I believe this 965 is going to be the perfect watch for what I want. You can scroll through the video and see what I mean about how it seems to be like my Samsung as far as smoothness scrolling through screens by touch. Its obvious how much brighter and sharper it is. Its also going to open up a new world for faces. I can't wait.

Tldr
16= Today's date. I can change the format like a cell in excel.
11= Active calories burned
Red line means watch connected to the phone
942= Total calories burned since 12am.
Grey line turns green when I get a notification and a number of how many
70%= Battery charge
41= seconds
73° and sunny
17= wind speed
51% humidity
Arrow wind direction
612 = steps
Green line shows I have alarms set and how many
59%= body battery
.30 is distance
I could make the other 3 lines show something, but I don't want too much going on. Lol.
With all that and using GPS about an hour a day except Sunday, I only charge it twice a week and it's on about 30% when I do.
