Ya, I’m pretty sure you know how to cook it.
Yeah but it is bad for us, but every once in awhile I just gotta have it.
My grandad on my dad's side was king of moderation. As far as I know he had 2 pieces of bacon every morning. Not 1 or 3. He smoked 3 cigarettes a day and 1 cigar on the weekends. He never drank alcohol. Blah blah blah...

He lived 82 years and I think he died of a broken heart. He died less than a year after my grandmother.

Everything in moderation.
With some things you can completely eliminate in order to do other things. My personal rule is to know as much about the truth as possible so I can make the best decision possible.
The Red Woman doesn’t have that luxury of anything cancerous anymore and I take care of her so I don’t either.

@Behr, e’ryone else too, one of the hardest parts of this is that so many church friends and other friends of my parents came by Friday (and yesterday but that’s not important here). My parents’ dog knew something was wrong, and she figured it out once all the guests were gone Friday night. And now she’s so sad. It’s heartbreaking to see

I figured part of your reason was being Jewish
That doesn’t hurt.
I feel all the dietary restrictions are because the G-d who created you knows what you should eat. Let’s take pork for most of history. Until very recently cooking and storing the things we eat were suspect at best. Pork in particular has some nasty outcomes if not handled properly. Most are not an issue today because we’ve figured it out.

It’s awful when the pets know. My dads dog still howls when he sniffs clothes that belonged to my father. It’s been over a year now

I went off my diet a lil bit last night, and feel horrible this morning...... I had some more Kraut, and some plain and I mean plain greek yogurt. The idea was to help with my gut bacteria... I doubt I had more then 8 carbs.....total it was apparently enough. I have to wait to test, but I don't have the energy I been having once I got into ketosis. I have no regrets, I think both were good for me probiotic wise.....but it's just nuts that that few carbs could make that big a diff in how I feel. Honestly though this is about how I usually felt most mornings before I went carno. Plan to fast a lil extra today, and stay pure meat/eggs.

Well, at least you have some evidence that the health attempts are working

Yeah man, I ain't proud of it and some condemn me for it, but I'm pretty vocal about being more compassionate towards animals than I am alot of people. The ratio is between me and my maker. I really don't have any wise words here, just I understand.

Hate it for you, your father, your family and the dog.

I don't remember if I posted here, but I did on Facebook. One of the nights when things were really bad with Tiffany I was in the living room, and just lost it. I just broke down in the middle of the floor sobbing, and Cocoa came over and laid down in front of me. In just a minute, she was whimpering, and nudging me. She knew something was wrong with me, it's amazing how dogs are like that.

Oh lawdz. Lol.

Some chick on Hells Kitchen was whining about cutting her finger.

Gordon: how bad is it?
Her : it's bleeding pretty bad but Im not quitting chef.
Gordon: are sure?
Her: I almost cut it off but I'll make it chef.
Gordon: stop what your doing and come here.
Gordon: where's the cut?
Her : right there.
Gordon: OMG Daniel has a bigger cut on the end of his penis.

Absolutely and I feel better, like a lot better. I mean at it's core it's an elimination diet. (so maybe there are particular items I needed to eliminate) For the record I still have no intention being a carnivore for years type of thing, rather it's my tool to get where I want to be. Biggest difference, I'm hardly ever hungry. I don't feel denied, or starved. I know it's time to eat by the time on the clock. Most importantly I feel like maybe I can work out more, and I know excercise has got to be apart of any solution. I'm already doing more around the house..like all those things we promise to fix and forget about. I'm not eating just any meats though..... mainly beef, and even teh bacon I am trying to find cleaner versions without preservatives, and sugar. Honestly I am not eating that much bacon, as the beef is just more agreeable. Tried to eat chicken but's just kinda ugh now....too lean, and I always loved chicken before. I'm still less then 2 weeks in some people say they get tired of beef. I haven't yet. I did have some Gyro meat tonight nad loved it...just hoping nothing in it messes me up. Would deffinately like to get more Lamb and Goat, in the diet.

Also after watching some videos I'm adding Iodine. It's supposed to help with quite a few issues.
