Really not too bad. We dodged a lot of bullets. Dad got the worst of it on Sanibel but wasn't as bad as I expected.
Two air conditioners were down and we were able to figure out what was wrong and fix them.
A cover off the irrigation was gone and we found it caught in the mangroves. The pool motor had been covered in water but it came back on. The water got to the bottom of the generator and pressure washer but not over them. He had put both outside freezers on 4” blocks and only one was cooling. The extension cord had got underwater and shorted out. We Put a new one on and it started cooling. Water got to the bottom of the cabinets but not inside. Only one of the downstairs sofa motors shorted out.
He has some ideas how he might be able to stop some of these instances and was supposed to meet a contractor today.

I told him he was becoming an expert at this and he said he'd rather be a fishing expert and let someone else do this.

All jokes aside, you all handled a stronger hurricane far better than Texas did...
