@joevol33 - forget to mention about the US 441 option: when my son-in-law went that way, it was only open in daylight hours. You’d want to get information on what exactly those hours are. Also, it was closed to commercial trucks.

I don't make pumpkin puree. No one in the fam likes pumpkin pie, etc.

I don't make pumpkin anything, pumpkin is for Joe.

What do you mean do you bake it? Umm, you don't bake the puree, but yes you bake the pumpkin. Remove all the seeds and pulp, cut it in half, I would season it with salt yes siree, but you don't have to. But I would. Did I mention I would salt it? With a nice coarse sea salt. Or just any salt, but salt it. Only if you want to.
