Culinary, Arts, Thread.

My family has periodically rented one to three big beach houses on the Southeastern coast for gatherings. On more than one occasion, I have baked Grands biscuits for clan breakfasts. There is a time and purpose for everything under heaven.

Now, I've borrowed from Behr and shared a couple of topically relevant anecdotes. If that's too odd numbered for some of you, then you can bruise your shins bumping into the coffee table.

All I know is that since I generally don’t get finished wrapping until 2 am Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day, I am NOT making cinnamon rolls from scratch five hours later. PB canned cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning are a thirty year tradition for us. So there.
Well calm down, no one said anything about cinnamon rolls. Geeze.

My mom makes some of the best cinnamon rolls, so I can't do the canned ones. So I'm glad my mom makes them whenever we visit, even if she did make them the day before.

My mom used to make them from scratch too. I never have. My ex used to make the Pillsbury ones and they were good. Not like the big gooey sticky ones, but good.

They make a good chocolate chip cookie dough and the cresent rolls are good too. But like some of you don't want mayonnaise on a sammich, I don't want chocolate in my biscuits. :)
