Why wouldn’t “the way things tend to work out” be LSU winning, possibly by that score?

Isn’t “the way things tend to work out” that the traditionally more successful/bigger school/brand usually wins over the smaller brand school / less traditionally successful program?

Sorry, what I meant was (and I admittedly am overstating it), but it's amazing how often things happen that are the exact opposite of what everyone (and the experts) think.

The popular take is that Wake is toast if they face Skenes tomorrow. What tends to happen is the opposite.

Same as everyone making fun of LSU pitching and all they have done without Skenes is hold Wake to 3, Tennessee to 0, and Wake to 2 (through 8 innings).

The strike zone across the country must obviously be different outside the SEC. That's why the scores have been what they are. 6 is the high run total for any team in any game.
