Sounds like what they were saying on ESPNU. I think it was all conjecture. I would be surprised if he spurns the hometown Trojans

IMO he just likes attention. The Ducks kind of come out of nowhere, the other day he decides he's also interested in Washington?

You're right about a lot of things, but not this time. The "Washington interest" is pure speculation that originated from the guy that runs their Rivals site.

And apparently, per Rivals, Thomas prefers to be called the "Black Mamba" like another, more notable, Los Angeles resident.

The kid clearly likes to see his name in the paper. That type of person rarely jives with Eugene.

Snoop Dogg gave him that nickname during a Pop Warner game before Kobe had that nickname. Just sayin'.

Oh, and Cliff Harris seems to be doing fine in Eugene.

Well, he said he liked the visit...

Either way, all of this feels like a rouse on Duck fans. Duck fans get clowned on when he goes to USC and I laugh, or he sticks the screws to Lane Kiffin, to which I also laugh.

Win-win for me. :popcorn:

I just looked this guy up. He's 5'9"/160. What position is he supposed to play?
