D4H's 2017 College Football Season Preview

I know talent. That's the only thing I've claimed expertise in.

I've never changed my opinion on the talent level of our players and their NFL prospects.

:lolabove::lolabove::lolabove:

Yes, instead of making six or even seven figures doing that as a job, HERE YOU ARE!

I'd say Vandy has a better shot of winning the SEC than you do of being seen as a talent evaluator in football.

Auburn has a better chance of being seen as a clean program than you do of being known as talent evaluator in football.

Butch Jones will win a national title before you are seen as a talent evaluator in football.

I remember a lot of folks thought stidham would be really good

I’m not even gonna bother checking but if D4H specifically mentioned auburn winning because of great defense then ya good call don’t think too many thought a 2 time fired kevin steel would work out so well for them

Malzahn is good when he has a quarterback that’s already been coached up but if he has to do that himself it’s a problem

History has proven this

You mean THIS Georgia?

"LOL @ thinking Georgia is Alabama.

You dawg fans are so delusional.

Can't wait to hear the calls to fire Kirby Smart this year after y'all lose to Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia Tech."

Still doubting me on Georgia?

I've been calling them the national champion since the start of October when they drilled us.

Georgia will be your 2017 national champion.

Here my new playoff 4:

Georgia
Oklahoma
Alabama
Michigan

Outside looking in: Notre Dame

So I predicted 3 of the 4 playoff teams right on Oct 13th. Roughly after 6 weeks of action.

I would say that was pretty good. Especially when it came to getting 2 SEC teams into the playoffs correctly. And I also was smart to not bail on Oklahoma after the loss to Iowa State.

I would say my mid-season predictions were great this year.

You predicted Tennessee to win the NC this season.

That was preseason. I changed my prediction to Georgia on October 1st.

That's like predicting the winner of a Nascar race when it's half way over. You predicted Tennessee to win the national championship back in August. Can't change your prediction in the middle of the race and expect it to be valid.

Most people attacked me for saying Georgia would win it at that point. Remember Alabama and Clemson were Still undefeated and everyone was hyping them.

I was kinda by myself on that Georgia prediction.

Even now most people are picking Clemson, Alabama, and Oklahoma. Georgia is behind all of them when it comes to odds to win it all.

I attacked you for changing your predictions 1/2 of the way through the season. Predicting Tennessee to win the NC under Jones is your biggest flop so far.

Baker Mayfield wins the Heisman (as I predicted).

Now all I need is for Georgia to win the natty and I'll be 2 for 2. :)

Only D4H would pat himself on the back based off predicting the odds on favorite would win

http://www.sportsline.com/insiders/25767119/cfb-early-heisman-odds-for-2017-season/

When I made the prediction in August, Sam Darnold was the odds on favorite. So you're wrong there. I wasn't making predictions on the Heisman in February.

Baker Mayfield was squarely behind Sam Darnold in the preseason. And for the first couple of months, Saquon Barkley was the favorite.

Remember, I stuck with Baker Mayfield even after the loss to Iowa State when most of ya'll thought Oklahoma was done.
