Everyone knows about the elusiveness. Everyone knows he has the arm. But what did you see that gave you confidence that he can be a NFL QB? He's a winner. Great. But if you can't consistently make those medium passes down the field you won't be a starter.
This one eval proves you don't really know much about the QB position. Dobbs has had 4 years to work on his mechanics (footwork, arm angle, etc) and his decision making ability (pre-snap reads, being able to get way from bad pre-snap reads rather than staying with it) and hasn't really gotten much better in these categories. I'll ask again, what on your talent evaluator resume makes you qualified to make such claims?
I still LOL at him saying Dobbs had a dominating performance against UF in 2015.
Dobbs led the SEC in QB rating, TD passes, and total TDs as a senior. Where are you getting this fiction that he never improved in college? He improved every single year he was in college.
You're just making stuff up now. Go and look at what he did to your sorry Georgia Bulldogs in 2015 and 2016.
I would expect this from a Alabama fan. You would think a Georgia fan would know better considering Dobbs destroyed you guys every time he played y'all.
He probably compared him to Dobbs or something .. honestly, Hurts is a better runner than Dobbs but Dobbs is just slightly better in the passing game

I think (might be the homer status) but Dobbs was a far better runner than Hurts. He was far more slippery as your defenses can attest.
Passing game they were equal IMO. But let's face it, a Calvin Ridley or a Jauan Jennings will make any average QB look better.
Dobbs is a better passer than Hurts. Hurts has all day and cant hit wide open guys. Dobbs never had long in the pocket and when he actually did he typically delivered a strike.
Dont undersell Dobbs, he was victim to terrible o-line play and coaching.

I wouldn't undersell him at all. I think he would have/should have benefited from a full time QB coach from his freshman year on and been one of the best.
I think Dobbs and Hurts share a couple of common problems, namely staring down receivers and consistency issues. The long ball never developed for the most part with Dobbs, but without coaching...
Wasn't like the UGA defense was able to just bottle up Hurts last night before the switch either. He was easily leading Bama in rushing and it would be hard to argue that he did it against a better defense than Dobbs did. And he is MUCH stronger in his trunk which makes him so difficult to tackle.
Dobbs mechanics never got better even though we heard in the offseason before his senior season he worked on accuracy the whole time. That's great but it would start with things like footwork, squarring shoulders, arm angle and release point. He is no where near as talented as D4H would make him out to be and before he chimes in, NO YOU DON'T HAVE ANY QB KNOWLEDGE TO DISPUTE THAT. But the kid IS talented nonetheless.

Hence "he would have benefited from a full time QB coach from day one" as I stated.
And in case nobody's mentioned it to you, anyone that listens to D4H or even attempts to respond to his ignorance is truly ignorant themselves. The only thing he's good for is generating clicks for Freak.
Oh come on, you know it's entertaining reading his nonsense (and that might be an insult to nonsense). He is the Volnation version of The Onion. You can probably pile 50 high the amount of delirious posts that make you say something like "what the hell is he talking about??!?!?!?!"
