Railroaded is not correct terminology. Never had any problem with his job being in play, but to stupidly cut him loose without multiple winning solutions having winked back to hypothetical questions is what it is as defined by our won loss since then. Don't know how anyone can justify the timing of the change with hindsight being available. The "anybody would be better" crowd were proven wrong. Timing is a critical element in coaching changes.

This. Realistic VOL fans knew this was a 9-3 season in a bridge year...we grab a couple Olinemen from the portal to shore up next season and the future here is super bright. Nico and co can win 30 games in the next 3 seasons and have us in the 12 team playoffs at least once...maybe more.

Clemson is in deep sheit right now and Dabo will evolve into a savvy Coach like CJH using the NIL and portal with efficiency and a little luck....or he will be a .500 coach for a couple years and get fired. They MASSIVELY underperformed this season...and despite top 5 classes every year we pushed them around and flat bullied them on BOTH lines of scrimmage. That roster Dabo has is not capable of beating top tier SEC schools right now period. The top 2 teams from the East AND West will beat them handily like we did. I live in Charlotte amongst lots of bandwagon Clemson fans...cant wait for their demise. GO VOLS!!!

I think he's banking on FSU and UNC leaving and Clemson not having any real competition. If he wants to move to the SEC he's insane.
