Dabo dumps on Tennessee AGAIN!

Not a Dabo fan at all but, still gonna give him a pass if I were a Clemson fan as he has brought tremendous success to Clemson over the past dozen years or so. Bet they win this weekend, whomever they play, as bet this little pep talk motivates his players.
If that is what it takes to motivate the coach and players to win, I will bite the bullet and call Coach Heupel on Vol Calls before the Georgia game and start dogging on Milton.

I don't think that Dabo is washed up yet however his best days may be in the rear view mirror. The competition in the ACC is tougher now.
I mean maybe. It’s a little early to say that. I think some are assuming he won’t make the necessary changes like Fulmer didn’t. We shall see. If I were a betting man I would say Dabo will rebound.

This is what happens to every fanbase that experiences a prolonged period of success at a high level. It’s hard to sustain. Should he have gotten as angry as he did? Probably not. Should their fans realize that they’ve won 2 championships since he’s been the head coach? Probably. Some perspective is needed by both Dabo and the fans.

I wouldn’t mind Dabo so much if he didn’t claim to be a Christian and then dishonor Christ with his actions. The last NC they won, their game-winning TD in the final seconds had a really blatant illegal pick by a tight end or wide receiver to spring the receiver who caught the pass open in the end zone. Even the announcers were talking about it if I recall correctly. Of course it went uncalled but it was really blatant and clearly intentional i.e. practiced. No chance he was oblivious to that play being in the playbook.

I heard or read somewhere about him getting a cop in Clemson fired for giving him a speeding ticket. It’s second-hand information, but it lines up with what another poster on here wrote about knowing someone that knows him personally and how he changed with success.

So it seems to me he’s getting what he deserves.

Before the NIL teams like Clemson, Alabama, Ohio St Georgia those teams always were at the top. Now that the NIL is in place, it seems to me that their coaches are the ones that are complaining all the time now. Because it more evened out. You know those teams were paying the players before the NIL.

his run must be tempered somewhat by being in the ACC when FSU & miami were down.
That is true. I don't even much like him, but have a special place in my heart for anyone who stops the despicable bunch from Tuscaloosa. I was even forced to pull for Urban Meyer several times, and could not stand him.

When the ACC first expanded, Florida State and Miami regularly trounced every team in the conference. When Bowden finally flamed out, Clemson filled the void.

Besides attacking a veteran on live radio, the sin of pride, nearly proclaming himself to be a God, he took a jab at the Vols, which makes him very wrong.

After his stab at TN, I hope no real fans of the Vols will be on here defending him.
I will not be on here defending him. As you were, sir.

I would excuse this as a nothing burger if not for Dabo's comments last year after the SoCar game. 2nd straight year he likes to talk about us for no apparent reason. He clearly has a beef with UT for some reason. Not sure if it's because we tried taking one of his coordinators or what. But he definitely needs to move on.

Dabo played for Bama. That’s mostly all it is. I wouldn’t be shocked if he is looking for a way out from Clemson, as the ACC is no longer a cakewalk and maybe having heard rumors of when Bama is going to be looking for a new head coach. “15 years left” is him going to his dream job at Alabama.

Well, he's NOT wrong in just about everything he said. Although, he just slit his own throat doing it. In the same way a man takes a dump after waking up, Dabo did exactly what should be done ... out in his front yard in plain sightof the entire neighborhood. This won't help him.

Big props for mentioning the Vols beat down and our turnaround!

Just like his burger flipping comment, that was another jab at the Vols. He's mad, because TN now has a competent coach. The guy is on the ropes and swinging at air in hopes a punch will land its target.
He needs a generational QB to win it all.
