Yeah, could kind of see that one coming. Everything has been trending downwards the past few years to the point that he is down a couple of mph on all his pitches, an inch a half of horizontal and an inch of vertical movement in his four seam fastball, down 2.3 inches of horizontal movement and half an inch of vertical movement on his changeup, and about 2 inches of horizontal movement on his slider. The only pitch that hasn't really dropped off is his sinker.
2012 was better than 2011 in most aspects.
Meh, agree to disagree on that. FIP was not even close between those two years and his stuff was not the same. The big difference for that not being a huge difference between stats between the two years was that in 11 he had a fairly high BABIP while last year he had .28 BABIP
