I'm going with 2-4)2 plate wins for sure and I'm going to say he gets a Martinsville W and either Richmond or Bristol, IMO short track and plate tracks are his best attributes.......I say that because Hendrick is going to want him to do well, he won't put all his eggs in one basket but I think they will be working extra hard to make sure he gets in victory lane.....I don't think he is all he was cracked up to be but a lot of last year was a lot of bad luck too.....I just hope he gets on track early this year

in all honesty, how successful he is depends on how dedicated he is. i know it's cliche, but i've often wondered were exactly his head is.

Personally I think he has always had too much on his plate..If he would focus on racing instead of opening bars and what not he would be a lot better off

2 sounds pretty safe, he ran out of talent a long time ago.

Jr at most will win two, but will be hard pressed to do it. Will he stay with HMS if he doesn't make the CHASE? Hmmm? That's up to Mr Rick Hendrick. If he doesn't make the CHASE then do they replace the "favorite driver of NASCAR fans?"

Jr is OVERRATED!!!

Don't know how many he will win, but he'll finish last again at hendrick

If he can keep up his recent torrid pace of winning one race every other year... he should be in line for one win this season.

A win is win, no matter how you get it

Yes it is. It counts in the record books as a win regardless. However, until he shows that he can run up front with the leaders on a fairly regular basis, and actually win a race by either having the best car, or being a better driver, then I and many others will consider those fuel mileage wins to be nothing more than flukes.

I'm not saying Jr. is the best in the sport by any means because I know he's not but every race car driver in the sport has won those fuel mileage races....Even the cat in your avatar, whom I hate but have respect for

Of course they have. I'm just saying that he needs to do more than that. If he can consistently run up front, and win a few races based on talent/car, then nobody cares about an occasional fuel mileage win. If that's all he can do anymore, then it looks like a fluke. 2010 is a new year. Let's see how it plays out.

I agree. Didn't have a good Shootout car lagt night. Looks like he has a stout 500 car though
