Dale Jr wins How many races this cup year

If Reutimann, who gave him the big push when he split those two cars to get to second, could've stayed with him he very well could've won.

With that said, you can't really take anything from a typical ending at a plate race with multiple green-white-checkered attempts and every driver going ape there at the end. A good start no doubt, but it won't mean much if the 88 team is garbage this weekend and the next race.

...and back to normal this week. The other three HMS cars were in the top five at various points of the race while the #88 struggled to crack the top 20 before the car predictably fell apart.

Hey, he found his pit stall every time he pitted today. Gotta accentuate the positives.

i was talking about the speeding penalty. or the the spinning of the tires that ultimately did him in by screwing up the rear end.

I'm aware. Just sarcastically tossing out there that he at least mastered the simple task of locating his pit stall.

Pretty sure the axle was already broken though, that's why he was pitting in the first place. Same thing happened to Johnson last week.

Many people would include Kyle Busch in the group of "most talented" drivers. Somebody remind me how many Cup races the Shrub won with that stellar equipment @ HMS. As I recall, he wasn't a world beater there any more than Junior is now.

Hard to argue the stats in that stellar equipment.

Despite the fact that Jr was an 8 year vet and Busch was a rookie when they both joined HMS.
