The only way Dallas is ever going to be successful is if Jerry steps aside and lets someone run the day to day football operations. He can direct his attention to being in the middle of all league matters.

Stephen’s already doing that. Why the draft’s have been mostly excellent. Jerry just has to be convinced that moves are his own idea and no one’s better at that trick than his son. If they hire a better football mind at the HC position, he’ll have all he needs to win.

Difference is that Trask won with practically no running game. Franks was behind a better OL in 2018. When the running game failed and the game depended on Franks, we almost always lost. Case in point the game against UK this year. Florida was down 11 points and likely losing in Lexington. Franks goes down, Trask comes in and puts up 18 unanswered points.
