Another Dooley reminder of lost opportunities

2012
Phillips
Taylor
Gray
Bonner
Bourque
Watson

2011

Arnett
Clear
Lanier
Martin

2010

Brown
Clark
Dixon
Loften
Meline
Nance
Milton
Rogers

Yet we keep the marginal "diamonds in the ruff" type players for 5 seasons. Combine that with inferior coaches hired by an incompetent AD and it amounts to 3 losing seasons of football. It is not hard to see why things got so bad. Thank goodness for Butch Jones!

I'm just gonna say it..... he wasnt very good anyways. And the last thing we need is someone in our secondary who is underskilled (IMO) and isn't willing to give everything they have on and off the field to get the privelage of wearing the orange.

Might be a stupid question, but when we have players on a scholly that leave or transfer does that open us up to put another player on scholly? And does it have any effect on how many players we can take for recruiting?

Not speaking bad about anyone... but Gray was one of Dooley's favorites, and one of Sal's...he signed on to play in the 3-4 and now that we are a 4-3 team, I don't think he saw a place for him to fit in here.

Of course I could be way off base and the kid could just be homesick.

In any case, I thank him for putting on the orange for one year, recording 8 tackles, and say good luck in your future endeavors.

The move back to the 4-3 shouldn't matter much to db's

Another South Florida recruit bites the dust. Seems like that is the rule rather than the exception.

A 3-4 or a 4-3 has nothing to do with CB and almost nothing to do with safeties.
