Okay, so I was just wasting some time on youtube and came across this

It is a trailer for The Dark Knight, correct? But at about the 1:00 mark, you see the Joker's eye and hear him laughing. Is that Heath Ledger? :huh: It sure doesn't seem like him to me

I hate to talk about someone who recently passed this way, but it's pretty obvious what was wrong with him (drugs etc). I think being away from his kid plus the meds just pushed him over the edge, which was sad.

I agree completely, Maggie Gyllenhaal did a waaayyyy better job then Katie Holmes. Maggie has a sort of timeless beauty.

Anyway, Ledger's performance, as stated by everyone, was AMAZING. I have never been so captivated by a character. If you hadn't have told me that it was Heath Ledger, there is no way I would have been able to tell you. He seriously gave me chills. He fully committed himself to the Joker, a trait not seen among actors of our time. He definitely deserves a posthumous award.

Yes...Heath Ledger was amazing! Hated how they ended Maggie's role though...only part I didn't like! By far this has been the best Batman yet!

They are different. Iron Man is more your prototypical popcorn munching comic book movie, whereas The Dark Knight is so much more. They are both great.

as of yesterdays totals, it is right now 150 top grossing movie. It will be in the top 100 by Saturday if you ask me.

I'd say with a movie of this stature, around 10 to 15 million or so. But that is a complete guess.

Absolutely the best acting performance of my generation with Ledger as the Joker. Movie was better than Ironman.
