Fill me in Freak, is this a good thing? USCs QBs don't look so good. How do you think he will do in Knoxville?

The only positive I can think of is he knows the SEC

The article says position unknown and that Spurrier primarily coaches the qbs. Said he will be missed in the recruiting department.

Yeah I've been hearing that as well good Kiffin is getting someone with SEC ties.

I have to plead ignorance on this one. I don't know much about him and haven't had a chance to do any research yet.

Well, this is good news and if he has strong ties to the state of South Carolina, it will be even better. I remember when we had several players from over there.

When Spurrier leaves before SC's bowl game, we will reap the rewards by draining their recruiting class.

If Coach O was to come he'd have to be the D-line coach and the recruiting coordinator imo. Not going to come just to be the D-line coach if Monte does follow and he's not offered the D-coordinator position.

So unless Reeves is just the QB and not the recruiting coordinator - then that would kinda close the door on Ed assuming Monte comes. Its a scenario - unlikely - but dunno.

maybe reaves is coming to get out of Sc? to a bigger and better job. i think he would take a better job and not be RC. think about this staff........kiffin, reaves, monte, and yaw yaw....wow we would own in recruiting

Could help us get Giles back, but more importantly he was key to USCe's top 15 recruiting class.

Why would kiffin hire reaves? USC's offense has been bad all year and their recruiting isn't that good either. Kiffin should hire coaches from good teams.

We know these guys can recruit but can they coach? We had pretty good recruiting with CPF but as we've seen it doesn't do much good to get the recruits if they can't coach them up and get the best out of them.
