DC Black Hawk vs Plane crash, Philly Crash. Malicious, or incompotence?

Hey, if you agree that the fact that she's a woman with 500 flight hours is "boom" worthy then you're welcome to say so or like the post rather than begging for attention
Ad Hominen. You really use this a lot.

Note there is actually nothing in this post of yours remotely related to my pointing out your use of a logical fallacy. Nothing but a poor attempt at an insult.

There’s nothing wrong with diversity when it’s not forced.
I agree with this. I have always tried to hire the most competent applicant and have made some spectacularly bad choices. But I didn't keep them very long. Fired a managerial hire within a week of opening a store.

He was. But that doesn’t necessarily mean his point was invalid. Reports are They had an abnormal staffing at the airport that night, had one controller controlling helicopter and airplanes which is usually split between the 2. If that is a result of the shortage based on an idiotic quota and them turning away 1000 qualified controllers, then yes his point would be valid
There are massive staffing shortfalls in the FAA. During the past few years hiring focused on taking candidates from "underrepresented communities". They even went so far as to ranking candidates higher if they from these communities (like Camden, NJ) which was weird af. Like no White folks come from the poor parts of the country? Sec. Pete brought in folks with disabilities and impairments. I've seen new AT controllers talking about their diabetes. I'm like wtf? I thought you dudes couldn't even take NyQuil? Controllers getting special headsets because their hearing is impaired. Again, wtf? You cant work past a certain age in this job because of the physical and mental limitations that come with age...

The FAA only hires in limited cycles during the year. They have a large training academy in Oklahoma City that is fully staffed, but they can't have continuous training for some reason.

On a side note when you fly and you have a rough landing, check to see if the pilot is a woman. 9/10 I bet it is..science.

Yes, my role was transitioned to a cost-effective geography. It wasn't about diversity, but money. Which, again, is why we would never intentionally hire and invest in someone unqualified to do a job. It's wasteful and ultimately detrimental to employee morale.

Fortunately, I was able to retire at 54.
Quick question..did your company have hiring/employment targets for men/women...minorties. Etc...goals they wanted in their company?

That's such a small part of a much greater point I was attempting to make. It really depends on the mission of the business as to whether or not diversity is necessary. For some business models, diversity can bring a much needed wide specialization of interpersonal skill sets.

You guys are discussing diversity too broadly here. I don't see how any form of customer service or sales department in a large American city can function anymore without some degree of diversity. You guys are over-simplifying the issue to an extreme. What type of business are you talking about? You should establish that first, before addressing the question of whether or not diversity would be necessary or not.
Wouldn't people naturally gravitate to those jobs the diversity would benefit???

The only reason I engaged this topic is I hate when these culture war terms are used as a boogeyman deflection. I'm not saying there aren't valid criticisms and concerns over DEI, but is it too much to ask for POTUS to be an adult after a tragedy like this?
Impossible!!! I mean he did write an EO blaming Biden, Kamala, Obama, DEI and immigration for the cause of this lol

Well when you’re approaching DFW from BFE you want the possibly incompetent people barely dodging airplanes to look like the people where you’re from.
