I should’ve specified why the military hasn’t released the information to the media. Seems like the info is from others sources and not an “official” military press release that I expected to see as soon as the families were notified?

Much like with other news stories, wild and sweeping theories, accusations, and conspiracies have come out without any detailed investigations or findings being released.

Any way the public could wait until the initial NTSB report comes out before jumping to conclusions?

Trump also needs to tone down on his speculation. He often speaks out loud what he should be internalizing and pondering. I think his press briefing on this incident was a good example of that. There are times where this approach works and can be beneficial, but this was not one of those times.

you mean after he and his party made sure there was no legitimate process to replacing the guy who was in charge, and just anointed Hitler without a vote?

or do you mean for all the policies that Hitler focused on that were for the greater good that made him popular?

and the gullible, angry, and ignorant who had been suffering due to outside international interference?

or do you mean he was so popular because he targeted capitalism as the enemy?

Not remotely. The air traffic controller did their job and there's no indication whatsoever that they were even a minority. It's monumentally stupid

And if people are whining about "DEI" when it had NOTHING to do with this incident, then it will just happen every time. If 9/11 happened today then instead of "uniting," some idiot would start ranting about how airport security hired some unrelated admin person from an HBCU

Based on his bloviating about Buttigeg calling the FAA "too white" I think he does make that assumption.

DEI means like...providing a place for nursing women to pump. Or wheel chair access. It doesn't mean hiring unqualified people. But when people start using DEI as a replacement for color, yeah...people are going to call it what it is.

My son who is a pilot is shocked that the ATC wasn’t giving the helo emergency rerouting calls and waving off the jet. In that pilot’s opinion the ATC was likely stretched too thin. TIFWIW

What I obviously mean (at least I thought it was obvious) is that history is rife with examples of horrible leaders being fanatically popular.

wheel chair access would be ADA, not DEI. DEI would be focusing on hiring the person in a wheel chair.

some of us have direct experience with the bolded that refutes that statement.

its never 100% either way, its not 100% about hiring unqualified people, but its also not 100% about NOT hiring unqualified people.

but also it has apparently nothing to do with this crash.

maybe you are seeing some of the reason many on this board push to point out that we are a Republic, not a Democracy. If we were a Democracy there would be nothing stopping from Trump running again and again and again as long as he kept winning.
