DC Black Hawk vs Plane crash, Philly Crash. Malicious, or incompotence?

except no. you are just doing your typical tripe and ignoring the Constitution part of the equation.

even under a representative democracy there would be nothing stopping Trump from running.
I'm a lover of the constitution. How is it that the constitution limits a president too two terms?

These days, it seems like just about every catastrophe/accident is blamed on DEI. Catastrophes occurred in the past well before DEI was a thing. These things unfortunately happen and is the nature of living in an imperfect, human-driven world.

Considering the many certifications and examinations that must be passed in order to even sniff the cockpit of an airliner, military helicopter, or to become an air traffic controller, blaming this accident on DEI is just stupid. Trump and anyone else are idiots for doing so.

This is a fluke accident due to human error (see swiss cheese model).

That alone isn't DEI. An institution actively seeking students who meet the standard but come from a low income house, or are a minority is not the DEI being discussed. Setting different standards so a low income or minority student can be accepted is.
Sure it is. He was let in over students who met higher standards but did not pass through the "income/region" filter.

Based on his bloviating about Buttigeg calling the FAA "too white" I think he does make that assumption.

DEI means like...providing a place for nursing women to pump. Or wheel chair access. It doesn't mean hiring unqualified people. But when people start using DEI as a replacement for color, yeah...people are going to call it what it is.

"seems kinda racist"...what? I'm on topic here, with TRUMP'S words. He brought up race.
Which ethnicity did he directly say? He didn’t, as it would be all over the MSM more then the actual crash. So which race are you assuming he’s blaming?

He just said DEI…where your head goes is up to you.

"These people died because there were too many unqualified Black people working there" - people probably see an issue

"These people died because of DEI" - weirdly accepted

Susie may need to slip Trump his ADD meds. Dude just doesn't know when to shut it.
Well, we knew from his first rodeo this was likely going to be the case. He just can’t look in the mirror and convince himself to just go be Presidential. I’m in favor of a lot of his policy, but geeez…shut that pie hole.

This is the problem with using a term as a boogeyman. POTUS may not have meant anyone specifically, DEI is just the easy thing to blame without any thought. Doing this, however, adversely impacts everyone in or perceived to be under the DEI umbrella. It's dumb and lazy.

There are massive staffing shortfalls in the FAA. During the past few years hiring focused on taking candidates from "underrepresented communities". They even went so far as to ranking candidates higher if they from these communities (like Camden, NJ) which was weird af. Like no White folks come from the poor parts of the country? Sec. Pete brought in folks with disabilities and impairments. I've seen new AT controllers talking about their diabetes. I'm like wtf? I thought you dudes couldn't even take NyQuil? Controllers getting special headsets because their hearing is impaired. Again, wtf? You cant work past a certain age in this job because of the physical and mental limitations that come with age...

The FAA only hires in limited cycles during the year. They have a large training academy in Oklahoma City that is fully staffed, but they can't have continuous training for some reason.

On a side note when you fly and you have a rough landing, check to see if the pilot is a woman. 9/10 I bet it is..science.
On the rough landing, it also depends on if the pilot was stationed on a carrier.

I have had fun picking at them after a hard landing by asking what carrier did they serve on.

Admittedly, I have never been a fan of DEI at all for multiple reasons. With that being said, I don't think you can always point to that program each and every time something goes awry or tragedy occurs because of a DEI hire. Good employees or qualified people make mistakes too.

new video of crash..

This video and the other 1 from yesterday show that the helicopter pilot flew DIRECTLY towards an huge jet that was directly in front of them for quite a while. Ample time to get the hell out of the way. The plane wasnt beside them, in a "blind spot" etc. It was directly in front of the pilot and if you listen to the audio the pilot was supposed to stay lower than the plane regardless. The only question here is whether it was intentional. It sure looks intentional to me. Yall wanna argue about that? Leave me out of it. I am waiting to hear about the crisis in the life of the pilot, the mental issues they were having etc. Looks like a suicide to me that killed 66 other innocent people.

The poster I replied to implied that Trump stated a particular race as the cause. Which was a gas light reach. Pete failed his job and because of the neglect to staff towers under his watch people died. He doesn’t get a free pass just because he’s a few days out of his position.

True. But he did get a pass from most leftist for 4 years because he’s gay. So I don’t see much criticism coming his way. Talk about a DEI hire.

It's fair to say Pete failed at filling tower positions during his tenure. From what we know, however, this accident was not the fault of ATC, but pilots. We'll know for sure when the investigation is complete.
