Pretty much. I’ll never panic with Heupel at the helm. The cupboard will never be more bare than when he took the job. He has overachieved on the field and off. Tennessee athletics in general just seems to get better with White at the helm. Spyre also is one of the best NILs as far as organization. Top to bottom this is one of the best programs in the country bc of the leadership and coaching that it has.
Kid is an athlete. Probably will make some memorable highlight plays while at SC but ultimately fail to find any consistency and then sort of drift into football irrelevance.Problem with that kid is he is not a real TE because he doesn’t want to put on weight, while USC won that recruitment most big schools passed on him because of that
We will probably need two more 3 technique portal kids for 2025.Good luck kid.
With House, Utley, and Dye in the fold I think we’re good in the HS front.
Maybe transfer portal for additional guy next spring if we need it.
2025
Moi (Sr)
West (Sr)
Hobbs (jr)
Jenkins (rsJr)
Robinson (rsSo)
Weathersby (rsSo)
House (Fr)
Utley (Fr)
Dye (Fr)
Yeah maybe another guy in tranfsfer portal
I think he has the body to be versatile which would only increase his potential value at the next level in 3 years. At 6-6, he needs to fill out and move inside. We’re set at SDE.
Two of our best in the last 30 years were that very size, or bigger. Henderson and Haynesworth. That’s my point. At 6-6, he has the frame for more weight. 280 is slim for a 6-6 DL.
You’re not sure how many 6-6 DTs there are? More than there are 6-6 DEs. 6-6 is a great height for DT. Pretty unusual for DE.
There’s 3 times the number of 6’6+ DEs than 6’6+ DTs in the NFL according to a chart on Google made in FebruaryThat’s my point. At 6-6, he has the frame for more weight. 280 is slim for a 6-6 DL.
