'25 DC DT Bryce Jenkins (Maryland commit)

What?
Momentum?

We’ve had two out of nowhere top 125 players commit to us in the last few days….
We are having a helluva start to recruiting
Its going to be 6 weeks most likely before he commits. Losing Jenkins, the Oregon TE, and Travis Smith would be rough. I'm really hoping to get Smith and Jenkins even with it being unlikely with Jenkins.

Holy hell this guy is in every recruit thread with some absolutely amazing takes on “no momentum” or “why did we not over pay for a second TE”….simply amazing work all around

I never said anything about overpaying about TE. Back off the ledge my friend. I'm just on lunch haha

Just an observation luckily posting history is a thing, sucks you are working today though I hate working weekends
Yup just checked my history and I didn't say anything about overpaying. I did say it sucks that we seem to get out NILed a lot. It's probably common all over the country now. I only pay attention to us.

That respectable i fall into that category too sometimes, when it comes to recruiting some teams put a higher premium on a player based on needs of the depth chart…Oregon was in desperate need of one more than we were based on their depth chart…it happens

So this dude is locked to maryland b/c of family circumstances? Or do we still have a chance to get him?

If you get “out NILed” and you had a strong offer that another school had to scramble to surpass? Wouldn’t you be OVERPAYING to reverse that?

I don’t think anyone is close to the ledge but you from your posts. We just landed Dye, the TE would’ve been nice but that was a luxury not really a need. Idk that I’ve seen any reason to panic on Smith yet but I’ve said he will get pressured a lot to stay in state; from Georgia’s actions appears they may be moving on there anyways. Sanders is really the only guy that we really need to land; the rest of the class will fall into place.

Nobody knows what we or other teams offer. So, saying we get outbid has zero foundation in fact.

Every year folks on here that haven’t followed recruiting long enough. The same old comments and panic over every recruit. It’s great entertainment these days. GBO!!!!!
Pretty much. I’ll never panic with Heupel at the helm. The cupboard will never be more bare than when he took the job. He has overachieved on the field and off. Tennessee athletics in general just seems to get better with White at the helm. Spyre also is one of the best NILs as far as organization. Top to bottom this is one of the best programs in the country bc of the leadership and coaching that it has.
