WHEN Hill gets a scholarship, he won’t count against a 25...hence the walkon part.Bottom line is you can only bring in 25 in a calendar class. Last year we signed 22 plus in the fall we gave 3 schollys too PWOs. Hill counts against us too if we give him a scholarship. In the recruiting board I haven't seen anyone assert that we can bring in more than 25.
He probably has a better chance of beating out guys who are in the same class as him at Fla then to come sit for us behind 5 upper classmen who have multiple years of eligibility left.Green was encouraged to look around. McDaniel they wanted to keep. He was highly regarded by the staff. Slaughter was a replacement for Green not McDaniel. This kid is a damn DA for going to Florida with the amount of DBs they have in this class; like a third of their class are DBs.
A lot of this is why I don’t stress about recruiting anymore.
we’re going to get ours. You’re going to get yours. No one has a monopoly on talent.
Are there Eric Berry’s out there that no coach could screw up. Yeah, sure.
But, I think LSU and FSU proved this year what a coach can do in their own way. Hell, Miami found a way to lose to FIU.
at the end of the day, we’re in the SEC. no one is going to “out talent” their way to championships
With a name like CryBaby I award you no points for your analysis that the class isn't up to your standard. Can't take into account what's not tangibly visible. Those other teams I listed could have pleasant surprises too. This is Pruitt's third recruiting class. His best is 12. That's not going to cut it to win championships. If he got to 12 this year, I'd be completely geeked, because the schedule is so weak next year. I think he can win eight games with ease. But then that 2018 recruiting class becomes the core of our roster. This is probably our most recruiting class in ten years, and so far it's underwhelming. Obviously hope it changes directions.
And now you know the rest of the story. Is CJP and staff ever going to be able to hang on to recruits? I mean come on this is just getting ridiculous. We have the most over paid staff in the nation.
Are you dumb enough to see that this recruiting class has been very underwhelming so far and a big disappointment. This coaching staff was supposed to be pretty good recruiters so far that is not the case at all.
THREE things that are certain: death, taxes, and recruits decommitting, committing, re-committing, musical chair recruiting-it happens every year. What really matters is what we end up with, we must be on par with GA, LSU, FL and BAMA, or we will continue to fall behind.
Well I guess this is what Tennessee has accepted at this point just a middle of the pack SEC team certainly recruiting like it neck and neck with South Carolina and Miss. St.Wow, you are good you can tell how good a class is going to be before they even get on campus. Either that or you are a star gazer who knows nothing about what is going to happen. I would try to explain to you that sometimes teams recruit to need not just see how many stars they can get in a class. You must be from the butch school of recruiting.
