'24 DC OT Jordan Seaton (Future Portal Entry)

Another thing. The kid couldn't even say our Oline coach's name right in his last interview with AP a few weeks ago. If I was really interested in a place I believe I'd learn how to say the coach's name but then again after hearing him talk more on Undisputed. It makes sense that he couldn't. 🤦‍♂️😂

It wasn’t about money. There’s pressure on these kids to go to Colorado. My brother is a high school teacher, uncle is in coaching. They all want to go to colorado and play for a black man. It’s a fantasy to them. It’s the culture we’ve built, Deion is just taking advantage.

I just didn’t expect it to have an effect on actual NFL level prospects.

They have 10 commitments

😳 I call BS. There are plenty minority coaches in College Football. Not sure why people hate Deion for being Deion. He was brash and outspoken when he played. That's who he is....

I know we'll always "get our share" of good players as a total, but I would feel safer putting my money on Colgate college than us right now in a head to head battle for a composite 5 star blue chip player. My original thought was always if we weren't competing against Bama, Georgia, and Ohio State for a guy they really wanted then we should win most of the time, but now I have to add Colorado, Missou, South Carolina, and Arizona to the list. Sheez. Okay, I vented. I will now disavow all of this and return to being positive.

Soooo, this was a surprise to say the least. Just goes to show it was a quick money decision. Maybe an issue of immediate playing time also because Colorado’s OL couldn’t be any worse. But from a developmental standpoint, it doesn’t make much sense to leave your home HS to go to IMG for development if you’re going to go to a place who doesn’t even have an OL coach or an OC just to jump on a quick bag of cash. The narrative he was parroting about how he was impressed with how CGE helped to develop Darnell Wright into a first round pick and put other OL players in the league, was just a bunch of empty words. If/when Deion leaves after this season, Seaton could follow him to another school. The problem is that Deion has already said he would like to follow his son(s) to whatever team drafts them, hopefully Atlanta. Don’t think he expects Shiloh to be drafted so he’ll be following Shedeur. Oh well, moving on to worry about the ones we do get and the ones that want to wear the power T, not the ones that don’t.

We have two 5 stars committed

If I am not mistaken it has been said we're he committed is not who he would sign with. That recruiting is still happening. Sounds like a let's commit to Buffs take attention off . I guarantee you our Coaches will meet in home with him soon. In CHRIST Alone

No way he chose Colorado smh… probably guaranteed a starting spot and good NIL… love the direction we are headed still but this guy and Francis from last year could have really set us up even better… still love our class and OL class specifically we will be okay but I can’t believe Colorado was the choice really played this one close to the vest.

Developmental wise, moneywise and in facing the best talent he can on Saturdays he made a poor decision.

But then he compounded it by saying something that will make him less appealing to the NFL. If you are a team with a white head coach that is drafting the year Seaton comes out then that is a red flag for the sort of attitude you don't want on your team.

I have seen kids do dumb things, but this is one of the dumbest.

Right now he thinks he is in with the cool kids. I think he is going to be shocked at how many people are laughing at his decision and how many have a low opinion of him now due to the blatant racism he displayed. He got snookered, but he was vulnerable to it because of his own moral failings. Tough, tough lesson to learn at that age.

I want to believe that. But to come out and make this type of decision and then flip would have a lot of people hating on him big time. But a lot of theses kids love attention so nothing would shock me
