'24 DC OT Jordan Seaton (Future Portal Entry)

Soooo, this was a surprise to say the least. Just goes to show it was a quick money decision. Maybe an issue of immediate playing time also because Colorado’s OL couldn’t be any worse. But from a developmental standpoint, it doesn’t make much sense to leave your home HS to go to IMG for development if you’re going to go to a place who doesn’t even have an OL coach or an OC just to jump on a quick bag of cash. The narrative he was parroting about how he was impressed with how CGE helped to develop Darnell Wright into a first round pick and put other OL players in the league, was just a bunch of empty words. If/when Deion leaves after this season, Seaton could follow him to another school. The problem is that Deion has already said he would like to follow his son(s) to whatever team drafts them, hopefully Atlanta. Don’t think he expects Shiloh to be drafted so he’ll be following Shedeur. Oh well, moving on to worry about the ones we do get and the ones that want to wear the power T, not the ones that don’t.
It's impossible to rationalize a decision of an 18 year old. maybe it's for clout, maybe NIL money, maybe he just loves Deion and the perception of playing for him. Who knows. Sounds like CJH did great work here, nothing more he could have done probably

Disappointing and dumb. Deon is a sideshow. His Coordinators run the show and they are at the mercy of his ego and whatever thinks on any given day. Everybody built him up because he is a master of the race card. He plays it with recruits, parents and his enablers at ESPN. Nobody wants to call him on it. The sport is filled with high quality coaches of ALL races. My fear is that the Deon clown show is going to 1) Hurt kids and 2) Make it harder for other minority coaches to get taken seriously in places where that nonsense is still an issue.

I want to believe that. But to come out and make this type of decision and then flip would have a lot of people hating on him big time. But a lot of theses kids love attention so nothing would shock me
Last year the OT from Iowa committed to Iowa signed with Bama and started this year. It sure seems this way. In CHRIST Alone

So much anger in your heart
When the staff prioritize a nationally-recruited kid, donors throw insane money at him, only to have UT and themselves look like fools when he pulls a shock factor "commitment" to one of the worst-coached position units under their joke of a media-backed NFL diva who choked in every single game last year?

Yeah I am.

Sanders is flashy, much like a traveling road show. He's hip/cool, the kids like him. This is going to be a problem for us in the SEC if he ever comes over to the SEC. If player wants to go there, so be it. We won't have to deal with Seaton in the SEC. This is the next best thing imo.
