Why not? Would you have a problem with it if he did?
Wanting to see guys that look like you in NFL or college head coaching positions is 100% fine. They are under represented. White coaches arenât under represented. Why would white person care? Every head coach in the SEC is white.I remember that game very well, and I really liked Fulkerson .... but honestly, it had nothing to do with his race. The same is true of Knecht. I like him, because he is a Vol and a good player.
There is a clear double standard for what a black player can get away with saying vs what a white player can say. Nobody in the media will dare take Seaton to task for that comment.
Orchestrated by Deion so he could keep him insulated and surrounded by friends........ Didn't want coaches in his ear and closing the deal.Maybe we should have seen this coming after the way he took off to LA without telling any of the coaches who were recruiting him and expected him to be in Florida ... but he left Colorado out of his top 5, so they wouldn't be in Florida.
He was jerking people around, and having fun doing so. I can't fault the coaches or the recruiting analysts too much though. The kid seems dishonest and immature.
I can't think of one recruit that Heupel has ever flipped once they committed somewhere else. Maybe Tyree West but UGA basically was recruiting over himDo you know if weâre done here? The other schoolsâ are acting like he might still sign elsewhere.
I find it hard to believe we would still be interested after today, but was curious what you thought.

I could care less what any of the players do (all i ask is for them to be good people). Was just curious if you'd have the same stance. Most that post like you are complete hypocrites and would be calling Cooper a racist. So the reason yâall need Cooper to say it is âwhy notâ. Do I have that right?
Nah I wouldnât have a problem. People say stupid stuff all the time. Willing to bet some of his teammates might have a problem with it but Iâm sure when he explained his reasoning for saying it was âwhy notâ that theyâd understand.
It's still a double standard. Some people, like yourself, believe there is justification for it. I don't.Wanting to see guys that look like you in NFL or college head coaching positions is 100% fine. The only reason Uros went to ASU then UT I think it because of familiarity to guys from his culture on the staff iirc.
Until there is equal representation, itâs not a double standard. It's still a double standard. Some people, like yourself, believe there is justification for it. I don't.
Finally, if the race of the head coach was an important consideration, why not make that clear months ago? It's not like Heupel, Day, Lanning, Saban and Napier were going to change colors before the early signing period began.
Doesn't that already happen?Itâs simple to. POC, as youâd call them, have the ability to do things whites can not do. You just admitted that. You would call that privilege. I donât think the answer to a problem that ended in the 60âs is to reverse course and give minorities privileges whites do not have.
@BreatheUT .... This is what we're talking about.
Also, is someone on a 4-8 team likely to win the Heisman Trophy? Sheesh. They suck.
Lol, the culture? And what would that be, when Deion started his "high school for the underprivileged" that turned out to be a glorified daycare scam?
Or maybe when Deion said he was "all in" on HBCU's, only to dip immediately after getting pantsed in the celebration bowl a 2nd straight year?
Was it when Deion convinced these kids like Travis Hunter to commit to other schools and then "flip" so he looks like a skilled poacher?
Was it when he came in to CU, kicked out all those kids on scholarship, and brought in the largest transfer class of all time?
Maybe those comments about wanting "two parent households" for QBs, "single mamas" for the defense?
Could be when he fired staff left and right mid-season despite never making adjustments himself? Or letting his injured players stay on the field?
Is it getting old celebrities from SoCal, with 0 ties to Colorado, to come to Boulder just to watch a first year P5 coach because the media props him up?
Really strong culture at that 0.569 program with 1 winning season in the last 17 years that keeps flip-flopping conferences.
Right...right....as if this society wasn't built on race. But that doesn't count because that was a long time ago, which was***checks notes****50 years ago. Wait im almost 50 so that's in my lifetime. Do you think all the people that thought that way flipped a switch and said I want the best of the best regardless the color of their skin. If you believe that, I got ocean front property to sell you in the hills of Tennessee.Your post is clown chit. The best of the best is what everyone should strive for regardless of color of someone's skin
I survived forced integration in Mississippi circa 1970. I know racism intimately. With that said, the constant focus on the failures of the past will not and can not move us beyond that, and I personally am over it all. Move on. There will always be racism, but in 2023 in America, there is no reason for it to keep you from succeeding in life.Right...right....as if this society wasn't built on race.
