'24 DC OT Jordan Seaton (Future Portal Entry)

Nothing to get indignant over. It just shows that Seaton isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Choosing a coach because they share the same race is a decision based purely on emotion. Emotional decisions are typically poor business decisions. And let's be fair, for a kid like this, football should very much be a business decision.
Say what you want about Deion, but that dude is no slouch in business. I am no fan of his, but i can see why some are. In the past steak profited over sizzle, but in this day and age of podcasts you can make more talking about being successful than actually being successful. I am also highly certain Seaton made infinitely more leaving HS than you or I ever did.

Deion being good at business doesn't trickle down to his underlings. Seaton is serving Deion's business aims, not the other way around. Seaton will not get developed and go to the league with whatever raw talent he has.

Maybe man and I dislike Deion, but it is not my place to judge either of those two. What they did makes sense for what they value.....

So just because white people are the majority, a black kid can say something racist but a white kid can't? Shouldn't both be treated the same? Because you want equality right?
No, these type of people want equity, not equality. If they wanted equality you'd hear them complaining about the lack of white football and basketball players.

Eventually, the results on the field will matter .... Not only did Colorado finish dead last in the PAC-12, with a 1-8 conference record, but they blew a 29-0 lead at home in a loss to Stanford, who finished the season 3-9.

Maybe they will benefit by getting out of the PAC 12, and into an easier league? But they've already had a lot of staff turnover and roster attrition .... and been losing commitments left and right. I just don't see it.

And in the past that was a huge deal for a kids career. Now he can flip next season and pocket again. It is wild AF. Some kids are going to chase short term profit over long term gain. I think we won on this one.

This kid has hurt himself more than he knows. Not even talking about his decision to go to Colorado.
There is a whole life after football. If he makes it to the NFL, there is endorsements and marketing and things like that. What’s his white teammates gonna say at Colorado? What are his white team mates in the NFL gonna think. What about his white coaches.

This will be a textbook case of Crash and Burn.

WTH is going on? Geez...I go take care of my lawn and leaves and come back to this. I'm completely lost.

His white teammates and coaches aren’t gonna care lol

Young men have very impressionable minds. It’s a shame that was said on National TV. It’s also a shame that people of power use that against a kid to make him believe one way or another
It appears to me that this was the plan all along. That's what bothers me about this recruitment. Just be honest. I don't know for sure that's the case, but it is doubtful to me that Deion only came up with this pitch at the 11th hour . I don't question his reasoning. He's trying to make the best choice. Just be straight with people
