'24 DC OT Jordan Seaton (Future Portal Entry)

AP said if Seaton decided to visit OSU then that’s bad news for us. Oh well.

That's pure speculation and click bait reporting. Of course him visiting somewhere else is bad news for us. Particularly a school pumping out 5-10 NFL draft picks per year. But it's not really indicative of anything right now

We've had the NCAA investigation hanging over us every recruiting class up until this one.

And I don't really care what the rankings say about the 2022 class, it's been very productive so far.
Mincey, McCoy, Williams, Squirrel, Sampson, Ross, Josephs and Pierce. 3 of which were transfers from other schools.

8-31 have put in actual good reps. Is that statistically good?

I thought Williams was JUCO and had finished his years there before coming here.

And several other guys are part of our 2 deep. Considering most of those guys are only Sophmores, I'd absolutely call that pretty great. Probably better than most teams around us in the rankings have gotten from their 2022 class.

Spyre is good at collecting money. Let’s see some distribution.
I’m of the opinion that you never overpay or go all out for any one player. This one is different though. This isn’t Francis M who you didn’t know if he would translate to OT; this is a guy that looks like a truly elite OT. Everyone wants him, you go in and show that your NIL is tops in the country and send a message to other recruits in the future particularly elite Qbs.

Weird that you count walkons to come up with your 31 number and then don’t count Jordan Thomas, Nimrod, or Herring. Did you expect the walk on guys to start?

The most absurd though was you left out Tyre West. Do you just not watch the games?

He expects to make a point even if he has to completely skew the numbers to do it.

Staff is apparently not impressed with Nichols and don't see him contributing. His leaving may not entirely be his decision. Or, at best, he's gotten the message that he's not made for this level and he'll make the decision himself. Disappointing miss by our staff and the recruiting sites.
OL projections are the ultimate inexact science. Kids are often going against DL that they outweigh by 50-100 LBS. Strength and Conditioning, technique, and level of competition are all very subjective. Camp performance and offer list matters for the recruiting services.

But there are a ton on OL that do the bulk of their development after arriving on campus. You need a lot of bodies to improve your odds.

It is speculation, but it isn’t clickbait reporting. The dude is just giving his informed opinion to questions asked to him.
