'24 DC OT Jordan Seaton (Future Portal Entry)

This is you at a car dealership....

Salesman: We got this 1997 Ford explorer with 321k miles on it but don't worry she runs good and no mechanical problems.....we got it marked at 1,500.

BOT: I'll give you 10k for it!!!

Salesman: Ummmmm...

BOT: I know...I know...I'm a master negotiator....I drive a mean bargain!

Salesman: Well okayy...ummm...sold...

BOT: Man......WHAT A DEAL!! Wait till I tell the boys about this!! Now...where do I sign...

This is hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂. Completely inaccurate but funny none the less.

That seems really trumped up.

I know it’s just a single interview but he made Tennessee sound like an afterthought
I thought the video was very positive considering he hasn't visited yet. This recruitment looks to be an extended one. That only works to our benefit since we're one of the new kids on the block.

AP said earlier this week there is an NIL benefit to having TN in your top teams, as you try leverage more money from other teams. Could that be the case here?
He was talking abt Brandon baker. AP said BB is gonna come out with a Top 5 and he expects Tn to be in it solely bc of NIL leverage

Not seeing a downside here. It forces other teams to spend more than us to be competitive for players they want to take from us, using up valuable resources, and also lets recruits know how strong our NIL program is.

If the coaches know what is going on the only downside is media and fans wasting time and emotions.

That is what Brandon Baker is doing 100% when Tennessee makes his top 5 tomorrow. I don't think that is the case here.

I think we're going to be a real player and put a very strong foot forward. I believe he'll be coming through the weekend of UTSA. We're obviously not the leaders but it wouldn't shock me if we make a very compelling case around this.

He's a really talented prospect. Shot up the rankings after dropping 40+ pounds between sophomore and junior year and I'd expect he moves up again based on how well he played Friday and the level of competition IMG will face. Not quite at Sisi Mauigoa's level but he has the talent to be a plug and play type starter for us next year.

But why does it use up other team’s resources? I learned from VN that there is an unlimited amount of NIL money and UT should spend whatever it takes to close?

Sounds like someone worthy of an investment

Jordan Seaton is, in fact, a grown man. Seaton is a very impressive prospect on the hoof. His frame is already filled out, and he carries his weight very well. Shannon Terry, the founder of On3, was also in attendance and tweeted about how impressed he was with Seaton. Seaton was polished in his pass pro sets and violent when finishing in the run game. He will have a chance to be the top OL in this cycle when it is all said and done.

On the recruiting front with Seaton, I think there is genuine interest in Tennessee. In talking with different folks about him, I do not believe he is one to waste a school’s time, or his own time, if he is not actually interested. Tennessee needs to get him to campus to make a true move, but he is certainly curious about what he can learn and see in Knoxville.
