This "woman" is an idiot. It seems to be a popular trend for GLT to sue for discrimination/wrongful termination because no way possible that they could ever suck at their job.

Agreed. Didn't a woman that was coach at FSU come out and say that Hart did more to help women's athletics at FSU than anyone else ever had? Basically implying that this lady from UT was full of crap with regards to his supposed lack of respect for women.

Bobby Bowden said they tried to make him head coach emeritus also and he told FSU to shove it. LoL

A Miller Lite Tailgate with a Bikini Contest is about the only new ground.

After reading that, I hope to God she isn't spending a lot on her lawyer.

That one stood out as did the bit about Dooley not wanting to work with a woman, so Jennings shouldn't apply for the new position. I also didn't know that these kind of suits have been filed at other Hart stops.

Its all just so flimsy.

Every time they make a claim, either someone else disputes it or the facts just don't support it (i.e. the Summitt Forced Out story).

Not a bad thing to suspect Hart in some way. Money buys a lot of stuff, including allegiance to some degree.

Her greed is a monster now. I hope she loses this case, and loses it badly. She's a pos like many people and I hope she chokes on a donut.

Mods please move if needed....

I am extremeley concerned over this lawsuit at UT, naming Dave Hart. We finally find a guy that I believe is great for this Athletic Department and has good, quality experience. And then his name gets dragged through the mud. Does anyone else have a hard time believing these allegations are true?

It's a lawsuit happy society. It's now the new lottery for a lot of people. From my point of view, most people are tired of all these lawsuits and this probably won't even factor in on what they think of Hart.

It's not the Debbie Jennings thing that bothers me, it's the Pat Summit deal. He also publicly denied the reports that he planed on taking away the Lady Vols logo and having everyone fall under Volunteers. It's now being said that he has had a 3 yr plan to get rid of the Lady Vols logo for "budget" purposes. Let's not forget the allegations from the FSU lady towards Hart. To many fingers pointing at the man for there not to be something there, JMO.

there is a three year phase out plan of the Lady Vols logo.... I'm not a huge lady vols fan (ill watch the girls when they're playing a top 10 team and in the NCAA's, same with softball) but why phase the lady vols logo out? Because you don't want it on the men's bball court? sexist imo.

Folks are going to believe what they want to believe based on their allegiance to UT. The fact is the entire university is a disaster right now and has been for some time. There hasn't been effective leadership from the top in almost 2 decades. I know too many people that work at UT, both in the system and at UTK. Based on how others I know well have been treated, the Debbie Jennings issues are not surprising and likely true. This is a huge problem all around.

The entire upper administration at UT needs to be replaced. The folks that have been in the good ole boys network for 50 years need to go. The Trustees need to grow a pair and start running the university in a way that's right and ethical - and not based on how the major donors want things.

Fans are going to think what they want, but everything UT is going through right now at a university level, on the football field, in court, etc. is not surprising. There's no leadership and hasn't been in forever.

Hart might have signed his death certificate when he messed with Pat Summit. That is not a thing to do.

I think it is BS that we go out and hire somebody based on a "plan of action" or whatever who's not lived here, not coached here, not played here and didn't go to school here. OK, so he shows up and based on some study or some sort of strategic plan that he dreamed up that made sense to drop a very equitable brand in the LV logo. I understand that streamlining the power T and making it the official logo across the board works at other schools and maybe makes business sense, although I haven't seen proof of that and really don't have the time to look into it. But, this is not about a money thing. Or a profitability thing. Look the LVols and really almost everything else in the athletic department are supported by Football. That's just the way it is. But the LV logo, the LV department and really everything about the LV is a culture. It's something that we've all grown accustomed to and we like it the way it is. It is their thing. It's also a very successful program. So, why change it? Regardless of whether or not he asked CPS to step down, what I am seeing here is a Chainsaw Al kind of guy when really, all we needed was somebody higher up (CHEEK) to allow the program to operate like it has been and let them do their job. I think Hamilton was a nice guy but a terrible, terrible boss. I think CHEEK was desperate and picked somebody with a futuristic plan. Problem is, this plan was more for some school like Kansas or Miss State or something. Not TN. And, believe me, when the dust settles and Dave Hart is either escorted out of here or chooses to bolt to "the only job I'd leave tennessee for," we'll be standing around with our cookie cutter LV program just like the mens. It's a shame if you love tn.
